Curtain Surprise

Remember these.....
In case you don't remember I'll give you a quick run-down.
These are the curtains I bought at the Thrifty store for $3.00.
Since I didn't need long curtains
I decided to make something out of them and this is the finished product...

I was able to make a fun, light-weight summer dress for under $3.00.
I hope this inspires you to be creative and thrifty :)

I wish! Your father tells me that to be "thrifty and creative" you also have to be talented, I'm not sure I have that! You are beautiful! I love the finished product! And I love your blog! What a beautiful way to begin my day, thank you for sharing your beautiy in so many ways. I love you, Mom

Stephanie ... you are so incredibly talented and you inspire me! My talented side has been hibernating for too long. Seeing all that you do had ignited my fire!

I know this is an old post, but I stumbled across it today. I love that gingham print dress. Oh, and with the red belt and the cardigan, oh my. Stephanie, you continue to amaze me! Beautiful. :-)

Oh wow! I had seen this photo of you before but never this post. You, my friend, are truly amazing with a needle! You look beautiful in your 'thrifty' dress.
