A Woman Of Strength

Sandi over at the
is hosting a pink tea party in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

"A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape,
but a woman of strength kneels in prayer to keep her soul in shape.
A strong woman isn't afraid of anything,
but a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of her fear.
A strong woman won't let anyone get the best of her,
but a woman of strength gives the best of herself to everyone.
A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future,
but a woman of strength realizes life's mistakes
can also be God's blessings and capitalizes on them.
A strong woman walks sure footedly,
but a woman of strength knows God will catch her when she falls.
A strong woman wears look of confidence on her face,
but a woman of strength wears grace.
A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey,
but a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong."

Thank you for posting this quote about a strong woman verses a woman of strength. Sometimes, I think I get the two confused, but these words clear-up that confusion. Can I make a copy of this? I'd like to keep a copy in my bathroom.

Also, your tea place setting is simply lovely! That little tea pot in the shape of a pink rose is just too cute for words, as well as unique.

Blessings to you! :)

What a tribute to women of strength. Love your beautiful dishes. I have a dear friend since 6th grade that has fought a 2 year battle with breast cancer and won. She lost her hair and through it all kept such a positive attitude. She is certainly a woman of strength. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
