Vintage Flowers And Frames

I found these vintage-looking frames at a small shop in town
and they were 50% off so I couldn't resist buying them.
I knew they would come in handy for a project.

All I did was decorate them with lace rosettes that I twisted and hot glued together.

And the big flower was made by the same technique
I used on Wednesday when I made the hair clips.
I stitched along the top part of the lace to create a flower.

Then, I hot glued the beads on to form a flower.

These would make great Christmas gifts for someone special :)

Well... If that isn't a clever idea! Who would have thought, not me that's for sure! :)
I love the idea. Thank you for the week of tutorials, so much to do now with what I have learned. I will be cleaning out my summer t shirt drawer today and I must keep all these wonderful ideas in mind.

The Lord bless you!

Your lace flowers are so sweet, Stephanie. What a great way to personalize your frames. As I was reading your post, I was thinking to myself what a great gift they'd make as you mentioned at the end.

Dearest Stephanie,
These frames are SO beautiful! You would think they were entirely store bought from a high end gift shop, not revamped affordable finds :)

I also really love the tshirt Christmas ornaments- who knew Tshirts could be *so* versatile? This year, DH & I are hosting Christmas for the first time at our new house and I'm severely lacking in Christmas Decorations, so this looks like the perfect project for me! I'll just have to raid my closet for any old Tshirts that I can use!

Also, I wanted to thank you for your kind words of support on my blog a few days ago- DH and I certainly weren't expecting these financial obstacles to arise but should have prepared regardless. It's frustrating, but it's ultimately a learning experience! I've been praying a lot about it and I know that God has told me that we'll get through it- but to always ensure that we have a nestegg and rainy day money in future! I really do appreciate your words of support though- it means so, so much!

As always, keep up the absolutely lovely work!

*hugs*
