You Alone Are My Heart's Desire

"As the hart panteth after the water brooks,
so panteth my soul after thee, O God."
~ Psalm 42:1 ~

As the Deer
As the deer panteth for the water, so my soul longeth after You.
You alone are my heart's desire, and I long to worship You.
You alone are my strength, my shield;
To you alone may my spirit yield.
You alone are my hearts desire, and I long to worship You.
 ~ Martin Nystrom ~

Have a blessed Lord's Day!

The pictures were taken on my way to church last week.
My sweet husband pulled over on the road so that I could quickly take some pictures :)

What a lovely post my dear! That is one of my favorite verses and worship songs. Right after I trusted in Christ as my Savior I went to a Ladies Retreat and that song was sung, so it left great memories in my heart,
You captured some wonderful shots of those deer, and then put it to a most fitting post! Thank you for the Sunday posts that you share with us, I enjoy them greatly!

Joy to you!

Awe... this is so nice to see all the deer in the water. They never stay still for long so it's hard to get a good photo usually. This is awesome. Thanks for sharing. It goes perfectly with this song.
Hugs and blessings.

Love, love, love that song!
And I'm sure my hubby would've pulled over too. :) He keeps binoculars in his truck and when he sees deer he pulls over just so he can count the heads :)
