Husband's Favorite Jello Salad-Thanksgiving Dish #2

My darling husband enjoys a good jello salad and this one is a favorite.
Every Thanksgiving meal with my family we always have some kind of jello salad
so it would seem odd without one :)
Do you have a favorite jello salad recipe?

Ingredients:

1 box (3.5 ounce) instant pistachio pudding
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup mini marshmallows
1 can (15 ounce) mandarin oranges

Whip up 1 cup whipping cream with mixer and pour into a medium bowl.
Add the pudding, marshmallows, and oranges with the juice.
Mix together until well blended and chill for at least 30 minutes in refrigerator.
** TIP **
I like to make this salad the night before - it turns out perfectly when you let it sit for hours.

May you have a beautiful day!
Thank you for your sweet visits :)

Hi sweetie... your jello sounds delish!... we have a favorite jello one too that I always fix on Thanksgiving... we call it "Slime"... I know that is an awful name, but one of my nieces started calling it that when she was a teeny girl and the name stuck!... it is actually called Lime Chiffon Jello... I will post the recipe soon!... xoxo... Julie Marie

I used to make a version of this salad with crushed pineapple and cool whip for St. Patrick's day at school. We started with the pot of gold, added the magic powder which turned the gold to green. Adding the rest of the ingredients (with 'special' names) made a bowl of magic for the kids to enjoy at snack time. It's also my nephew's favorite salad that I make for him when he comes over for his meatloaf and scalloped potatoes. Your serving spoon is very nice, too! Have a wonderful week and stay warm with the storm that's coming.♥♫

Oh I forgot about this Thanksgiving favorite! It makes me think of my sweet Mom. She used to make this, only with matching jello and fruit...strawberry jello with strawberries, orange jello with mandarins, etc. :) YUM!

As I sit here with my cup of tea both the pumpkin cake and jello salad have my lips watering.
Pumpkin, anything pumpkin is good for me! Your father and I just finished off the banana cake so may have to whip up a pumpkin cake. :)

My favorite is cherry jello salad made with real whip cream wallnuts and bananas, yum yum!

Have a beautiful day!

I have a similar recipe, Stephanie, but it's called Watergate Salad, and it has crushed pineapple in it. We love it, too!
Hope you have a happy day, sweet friend. xo

It was so good to hear from you Stephanie. I understand how busy things can get. I've slowed down on blogging a great deal myself. I need to let it find its proper place in my life. But I don't want to lose touch with sweet friends like you!
This salad looks scrumptious!
