Thank You, Veteran's

It is the VETERAN, not the preacher,
who has given us freedom of religion.

It is the VETERAN, not the reporter,
who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the VETERAN, not the poet,
who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the VETERAN, not the campus organizer,
who has given us freedom to assemble.

It is the VETERAN, not the lawyer,
who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is the VETERAN, not the politician,
who has given us the right to vote.
~ Unknown ~

My heart is full of gratitude for the men and women who have fought
and will continue to fight for our freedom and our country.
These two words seems so inadequate to express how much appreciation I have for our military,
but thank you!
Thank you for everything!

Great post, Stephanie! We should ALL be thankful of these brave people today, and EVERY day! :) Too many people forget why they have this abundance of freedom to act the way they do. Thanks for this post.

Thank you for sharing the tribute to veterans today! It's all so true. They have made good Presidents, too. Oh, if only we had one in that office now...
Happy Veterans Day!

Bless you for posting this in honor of our men and women who sacrifice for our freedoms, and yet many times are over looked.
I am thankful for what others have done with their lives so I might have the freedoms that I have.

God bless them all!

Blessed Monday to you!

Hi Stephanie! Thank you for the great post spotlighting the veterans. Like my husband, an ex-Marine. It's so great that vets are being celebrated again, not looked down on.

I am grateful for living here, and having such wonderful young men and women living to serve and protect.

Happy Tuesday!
Ceil

I love that snippet from Unknown! Thank you for honoring all Veteran's. I agree, thank you doesn't come close...I have a Grandpa and his brother who served in the army, my Dad in the Navy, an uncle in the Air Force and their cousin in the Marines - so we are well represented in the military : ) So grateful to them all.
