Merry Christmas To You, Friends!

Click on the picture to enjoy this beautiful music while you read - it's a lovely song.

"And the angel said unto them,
Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy,
which shall be to all the people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior,
which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you;
Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes,
lying in a manger.
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host
praising God, and saying,
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men."
~ Luke 2:10 - 14 ~

The birth of the Savior of the world-
what a wondrous and glorious gift
to ALL mankind!

The Christmas decorations are up...

and the lights are twinkling on the Christmas trees.

The ornaments are hanging prettily...

and the gifts are all wrapped up in pretty paper with sweet bows.

But may we NEVER forget the reason we celebrate this beautiful season.

"His destiny was the cross...
His purpose was love...
His reason was you."
~ Unknown ~

(My dear friend sent me this)

May each one of you have a joyous Christmas filled with the love
and peace of our precious Savior,
and may your Christmas be a celebration of Jesus Christ our Lord!

Sending you love and hugs during this beautiful season!

Just beautiful, Stephanie! What a blessing it must be to walk in the door each time you come home and see all of the cheery loveliness everywhere. It looks so very cozy- I think my favorite thing is the line of the mittens strung along and hung by clothes-pins! What a sweet touch.

Wishing you a joyful weekend, dear friend!

Huge hugs and blessings to you!

Just wanted to tell you that I found "Whiter than Snow", the hymn you posted back in October! I had to move my bookcase with all my old hymnals and just looked through each one. I was delighted to find it and plan to play it next Sunday for church. I'm so excited because it is such a beautiful piece! May you be blessed in the New Year!♥♫
