Snowed In For The Day

Good afternoon, blog friends!
As I sit here by the warm, toasty fire drinking my hot coffee
it's snowing outside creating a world of beautiful white.

It has been snowing since yesterday and there is close to 2 feet of snow outside.

The snow is so beautiful and I am thoroughly enjoying it
plus my darling husband was able to stay home from work for the last two days
so it has been a lovely treat having extra time with him.

My son is having a blast in the snow - here is a picture of him "diving" into the fluffy white stuff.

In the picture below is a large trampoline....can you find it?

The pictures are not very bright since they were taken early this morning so I apologize for that,
but I think you get the idea that we have A LOT of snow here in the Rockies!

Love to you, my friends!
Have a beautiful weekend filled with plenty of joy!

Looks lovely! I love being snowed in -- it happens rarely so I make the best of it when it does!

Wow! You did get a lot of snow! Please send some down to us out here on the prairie :) It is so dry here. We have been getting lots of dirt filled wind. Ick!

So happy that you have your hubby and son home to share in the snow day! Beautiful pictures by the way!

Heading over to your creations shop now....

Hugs,
Amy

Lovely snow photos! We're supposed to get blasted here in Chicago. The snow is pretty when it's fresh, but by the next day, I don't want to look at it anymore!

What a an absolutely beautiful, dream-like winter wonderland!! I wish I were in the Rockies right now. I posted a photo recently of the snow we got here and I don't think I can even call it snow now after seeing you photos, haha!

Sounds like such a cozy, wonderful day there. I'm glad you are enjoying it with your son and with coffee and some crafting. I loved seeing all your sweet new creations! You make the most creative, cute pillows. And those bows are so sweet and pretty.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead, dear friend!
Stay cozy and warm!

Huge hugs to you,
Jazzmin

Brr - rather you than me! Mind you, having survived the wettest January for nearly a century in the UK, not sure that you're not getting the better deal! Enjoy it and it's benefits.

That's a lot of snow but oh so beautiful. We're expecting a storm tomorrow but only 5-10 cm of snow which is only about 2-4 inches. It's the chance of freezing rain that worries me...I don't like it!

How wonderful to be snowed in and have time with your hubby and to craft. Oh and loved the photo of your son! Enjoy that warm fire and have lots of tea. :o)

So beautiful. I heard that there was a lot of snow in the mountains. My daughter lives in Broomfield and they only got about 5 inches. We have had a lot of snow and expecting more soon. We never get that much at a time.

Wow, that is a lot of snow..!! How nice that you got to spend some fun time with your hubby. Your son is so adorable with his big 'snow dive'.

You have been busy making so many pretty things..I guess you can partly thank the snow for that. :)

Gorgeous, gorgeous snow! It's great being snowed in with electricity and of course some crafting projects. We didn't get nearly that much but it kept us in for a couple of days. No complaints here. Check back on my Friday post to see what got done.

Enjoy your weekend!

Those are gorgeous views! The trees under the snow look so beautiful. And all that snow surely is a lot of fun for the little ones.
Here in CA we finally got a bit of rain. We are having drought, and I'm trying to preserve water as much as possible. We are praying for more rain.

Hi Stephanie,
beautiful pics, beautiful crafts. We haven't had any snow this year only rain, rain and more rain. I am so glad that we live on a hill, there have been so many floods on the low lands.
God bless

Oh Wow!! now that is a lot of snow, my hubby is considered essential so he has to go to work no matter what the weather is outside. So neat that you have been able to enjoy the snow together, I sure remember those days as a kid in Michigan making forts in the snow and jumping off the back of my Dad's truck into the snow piles.
I am so loving the mix of the burlap and the lace, just gorgeous projects!!

Beautiful snow photo's,Stephanie. You do get A LOT of wnow!! I can remember in the 70's it snowing 18 inches in Georgia, don't think it's snowed that much since. It's the ice that causes so much trouble on our roads. I can barely see the tampoline. Have fun with your son in the snow.
Hugs my friend and stay warm.Sylvia

Wow dear Stephanie! You have gotten a lot of snow. So far we have had a mild winter although our children would LOVE some snow to play in. We seem to have lots of mud right now. The snow always makes everything look so fresh and clean.
