Well, it's been a few weeks since I shared my craft room with you
and thought I had better finish the tour of our new home :)
I found it difficult to photograph the bedroom and bathroom
so bare with me as you look at the "okay" photos :)
I am LOVING the two windows on the south side
and when the sun is shining it's more like a sun room where I want to cuddle up with a book.
The quilt on our bed was purchased in Canada on our last trip
which was for my Grandmother's funeral.
Everyday when I look at it I think of my grandparents and Canada.
Our log bed was made by my sweet husband as a gift to me when we got married :)
He did a beautiful job and if you look closely at the first picture
you will see he carved a heart on each post.
I wear a lot of scarves so I like to have them handy and hang them on my wall
for an easy grab and go :)
The lovely dressers in our bedroom were my parents which they gave to us as a gift
when hubby and I tied the knot.
They look like they were made for our bed and match perfectly.
I made an earring holder with an old picture frame and some lace.
So far it is working well and the lace is only slightly weighed down with the earrings.
I also needed two bracelet holders so I used a couple of screws
and attached a fabric yo-yo onto the end.
Cheaper than buying something and not too bad looking either :)
"I will love you today,
and for always."
How I feel about my darling :)
Onto the master bathroom...
this was very hard to get photos of so there are only two - sorry about that.
I fell in love with this lace shower curtain and my sweetie pie told me to go ahead and get it :)
The picture does not do it justice...there are rows and rows of cream lace.
I think it's very romantic :)
Thanks for visiting, my friends, and there's more to come this week.
Hugs to you!
