Autumn Critters

Autumn blessings to you, friends!
I wanted to share with you a cute and easy project that you can easily whip up
in only a short amount of time.
This fun Fall hand towel is perfect for the kitchen or bathroom.

All you need is an Autumn hand towel, lace, buttons,
and fabric yo-yo's.

To make the yo-yo's,
cut out three small circles from cotton fabric.

Thread a needle and sew a gathering stitch along the edge of each circle.
Pull tightly and knot.

Pin some pretty lace to the inside bottom edge of the towel and sew on.

Add the buttons to the center of the yo-yo's and
hand sew or use fabric glue to attach the yo-yo's.
(Fabric glue works just fine, but allow it to dry for 24 hours)

A sweet hand towel with some cute additions and your own personal touch.

Hang your new towel in your home for some Fall prettiness.

Hugs to you, sweet friends!

Hi Stephanie! What a cute towel, and I love the little addition of sparkles in the button.
My brother's nickname in high school was 'owl' and today is his birthday, so it's fun to see this craft. I know you are perking up your house for fall. I'll bet it's beautiful.

Blessings,
Ceil

You amaze me! Why I can't think of taking something and just embellish it I'll never know. :-)
That towel is bright and fun for any home. Of course I love the lace that you added.
Your tutorials always make things seem so easy, but I know better than that when it comes to ME. Ha ha.
Enjoy this beautiful day!
Love you!

Good Afternoon, Stephanie!

Oh my... that is one CUTE hand towel. I think I need to go out and see if I can find some of those!

Fall is here, I think to stay. We have been having cold mornings, but warming up in the afternoons to high 60's to low 70's. I love it! No snow here, but I imagine you all ready have snow up there!

My guys are getting ready for hunting. We are hoping they will fill all 3 tags this year. We sure could use the meat in our freezer!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs,
Amy

Hi Stephanie! Thanks for stopping at my blog. I love the towel, but I know it wouldn't be quick and easy for me - I'm not the crafty one in the family!
I enjoyed my visit and will be back.
