The Piano Guys - A Night To Remember

On December 20th, my dad, son, and I had the delightful opportunity
of seeing The Piano Guys live in concert.
Wow, what an amazing experience!
You see, the three of us love the music produced by The Piano Guys
and we admire their talent - they are extremely gifted
yet humble at the same time which is a breath of fresh air.
If you have never heard them perform than I would highly encourage you to check them out
on their YouTube Channel - you won't be disappointed :)
I thought I would share our experience with you. . .

The Christmas concert was held at the Energy Solutions Arena in Utah.
We are not from this state, but we made the drive just for their last concert of the year :)

In our excitement we arrived early
so I was able to get some photos of the pretty stage lights before the show started.

As you can see from the seats behind me, we were quite early!
Better early than late, right. . .

And the show begins!
I know my dad, son, and I were grinning from ear-to-ear at this point :)

Here is Jon playing the piano.
We had VIP passes for after the show so we were able to meet them in person.
It was rather rushed, but I was able to talk with Jon for a couple of minutes
and may I just say he is one of the nicest, most sincere guys I have met.

As is Steve the cello player.
When we met them backstage he took the extra time with my son,
getting down on his level to talk with him which of course warmed my heart.

They play with such passion and joy - you can tell they love what they do
because it flows into their music which in turn touches the lives of many.
Their music sounds just as good in person as it does on YouTube or their Cd's.

Yes, he really played a song upside down. . .
I tried on my piano when I got home and found it impossible!

They took a photo of everyone at the concert - they said there was 13,000 people there.
When looking at the photo, we are on the left-hand side near the lower white gate.

After the show was done we made our way downstairs
to where we would meet The Piano Guys- my son calls them The Good Guys :)
Here is my dad, son, and me with them.
Steve called my son his "Vest Buddy"
and of course that was all my little guy could talk about :)
We did not get back to the hotel until 11:30 pm. . .
it was a late, but wonderful and memorable night!

Thanks for letting me share our fun adventure with you - I hope you enjoyed it :)
Do you have a favorite song by The Piano Guys?
If so, what is it?

Hugs to you, sweet friends!
Have a lovely weekend.

Ah-HA! You have expanded my horizons. Never heard of them, but will chug on over to their Youtube channel in a few minutes. Happy, Wonderful, Blessed weekend to you, dear Stephanie, from m & jb (who is grumpy and confused right now as we moved the bed from one wall to the other this afternoon. It is becoming apparent that she is a kitty who does not embrace redecoration of any kind. Sigh...)

O, so glad you had such a wonderful time. Your son will remember it always. :)
I saw a comment you left about not having a mantel to decorate and I thought of a great idea I saw on Karen's Up On The Hill...
thought you might like it, too.
http://www.karensuponthehill.com/fresh-updates-new-additions/
It's the simplest idea (her 2nd photo of her dining room)_ and it looks so much like a fireplace and mantel, I was fooled for just a bit. I really love the idea.

Well, I just went back and looked at it and now I can't tell if it's real or not...*heavy sigh...:)

What a wonderful night is sounds like you had with your dear Dad and son! How special that you went with them and that you got to enjoy it together. What a memory for your sweet son in his childhood to be able to see the show and get to meet the Piano Guys. It was so neat to "go along" with you through your photos :) I must admit that I may have been a little distracted from the music because of that amazing stage glowing so beautifully. It is mesmerizing.
I am so glad you had a wonderful time, dear friend! And you look so lovely as well, what a darling dress :)

Love and hugs to you!
Have a wonderful weekend, Stephanie♥
