Letter Writing Station - Guest Post At The Thrifty Rebel

Happy Monday, friends, and happy March!
I have some wonderful news. . .

Today I am a guest at Tuula's lovely blog The Thrifty Rebel.
Dear Tuula asked me if I would be interested in joining her Pink Ladies
and of course I said yes - what an honor!
Tuula creates some of the most delightful and unique items
and her blog is always a source of inspiration and charm.
I would encourage you to visit this sweet lady and her blog
{if you haven't already done so}.

I am an old-fashioned kind of girl
and I love sending and receiving letters through "snail mail."
There is something special and timeless about penning your thoughts onto paper
and then sealing them up to send to a precious friend or loved one.
Since I write quite a few letters I decided to create a little space
- a pinkalicious space to be exact -
where I can create my "happy mail"
which in turn makes letter writing more convenient and fun.

Won't you please join me at The Thrifty Rebel
and see the Letter Writing Station that I created.

Writing letters is the purest form of friendship
we humans can possibly express.
We capture ourselves in a moment,
and then we give that moment away to someone else.

I love how creative you are Stephanie. I still like letter writing as well. Text and emails have their place and I enjoy using them as well but a letter is something you can hold in your hand and keep forever...which by the way I do. I have a special box for them and pull them out and reread from time to time.

That is a sweet idea. Half the battle is having the things at hand. I have a basket, which I sometimes lose. Ha!

Your pinkalicious letter writing station is so sweet! All the decorating goodies are beautiful. I love the piece you created for the wall. Life seems too impersonal at times these days with technology. It is wonderful going back to something classic such as letter writing.

Stephanie,
I love your pink writing space, it's so charming. I really like getting surprises in the mail too - notes, cards, letters. I love sending them just as much. People don't do it as much any more, and I think I'll always enjoy this type of communication.

Have a wonderful week.

love, ~Sheri

Lovely quote about writing letters. I write cards and letters to some friends, some of whom I have met through blogging. It seems more real than texting or emails, and you can keep the card to enjoy in future too.

There is just nothing like a letter from a friend and so seldom do we get one these days. I love my computer, but I miss the old days, too. See you at The Thrifty Rebel.

Good evening sweet Stephanie! It's evening time, it's quite, a perfect time to write. Letter writing is an art NOT to be lost like many other arts. It's a blessing to receive a note from a friend near or far!

Praying for you! Anita

What a great area! Loved the article. I started the " snail Mail Movement". On FB but it didn't take off like I had hoped it would. A lot people say they just don't have time.sad.....but I will continue with it! I even have the wax seals because I love the nostalgic feel of it. Keep on snailing! Hehe I loved your holder, super idea!

Sweet Stephanie, I enjoy following you to other blogs. Love your mail area.. so pretty to have it on your wall and desk ready to use. Snail mail is getting to be a rare treat so I try to send thinking of you cards with a little note to elderly church members and friends. I know how excited I get when I receive one.
Blessings and hugs,
