Mother's Day Felt Pins

Mother's Day is just around the corner, my friends.

To the world you are a mother,
but to your family you are the world.

My sweet mother is a joyful woman and her joy can be quite contagious
so I created a dainty little pin with the word "Joy" on it for her.
I also made a pin with a feminine flower bouquet.
Time is running out to make something special for your mom or grandmother
and these lovely little pins are easy peasy to make.
Let me show you how. . .

Supplies Needed:

felt doilies
lace
buttons
beads
miniature roses
cloth wrapped wire stems
pin
needle
thread
scissors
hot glue gun and glue

I found these adorable felt doilies at Michaels for only $1.50.
They are about 2-inches in size.

For the flower bouquet pin:
cut the wire stem down to size
and hot glue the rose to the top.

Tie the three stems together with lace
and hot glue onto the felt doily.

Add a pretty embellishment to the center.

Sew a pin onto a small felt heart.

Hot glue the heart onto the back of the felt doily.

And that's it :)

A charming pin that will brighten up any outfit
and bring a smile to the recipients face.

Be the mom
you want them to remember.

For the other pin I made a lace bow which I hot glued on,
sewed on some vintage buttons, and applied the "Joy" bead to the center of the bow.

A mother is far more precious than jewels.

Hugs and blessings to each one of you, sweet friends, and happy creating!
Have a beautiful day!

Thank you for the continued prayers on my Grandpa Don's behalf.
He is scheduled to have his open heart/bypass surgery on Tuesday the 11th.
He is not feeling well at all so please continue to pray. . .
Thank you, sweet friends!

Now aren't those pins the sweetest, little, thoughtful gift??? You're always coming up with something so clever with those lovely hands of yours.
Also, the Devotional Garden book sounds like a beautiful book to pick up and be inspired by God's beauty.
Love and hugs to you, sweet friend.
