Trusting Jesus

Oh, the joy of trusting Jesus,
trusting where we cannot trace;
Leaning hard upon His promise,
proving His sufficient grace.
- Katie V. Hall -

Simply trusting every day,
Trusting thru a stormy way;
Even when my faith is small,
Trusting Jesus - that is all.

Brightly doth His Spirit shine
Into this poor heart of mine;
While He leads I cannot fall,
Trusting Jesus - that is all.

Singing if my way is clear,
Praying if the path be drear;
If in danger, for him call,
Trusting Jesus - that is all.

Trusting Him while life shall last,
Trusting Him till earth be past;
Till within the jasper wall,
Trusting Jesus - that is all.

Trusting as the moments fly,
Trusting as the days go by,
Trusting Him whate'er befall;
Trusting Jesus - that is all.
- Edgar Page Stites -

Commit thy way unto the Lord;
trust also in him, and he shall bring it to pass.
- Psalm 37:5 -

Have a blessed and beautiful Lord's Day, sweet friends.

Beautiful post. Such gorgeous flowers. Your posts are always so inspiring. The song certainly sums it all up. "Trusting Jesus - that is all." By trusting Him we prove His sufficient grace to us individually. The scripture is the key, "Commit and trust". That is not always easy, but always rewarding. Big hugs.

Beautiful. It's interesting to me that the old hymns I grew up with always present themselves with music... so I couldn't read the words of this hymn without singing then. It's a wonderful thing to have those in my memory. Thanks for this lovely post, Stephanie.

As always, I can now hear that old song in my head. I do appreciate your Sunday posts!
Your daisy photos are beautiful and such a perfect thing to go with that song. It reminds me of verse that says; "And why do you worry about clothing? Look at the flowers of the field, how they grow: they don't work, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these".

How people live without Him, I cannot fathom. I hear people criticize us Christians, that we use religion as a crutch. No, we use Jesus as a crutch! We need to lean on Him fully to get through this life! And I happily will!

Much love and wishes for a happy and peaceful week for you, my dear sister in Christ!

Dearest Stephanie, I was touched by the beauty of this post - the words, and oh my - your pictures! Your photography of the flowers is pretty awesome! Indeed, trusting in Jesus - what a beautiful theme to pair with such gorgeous pictures of the daisies! He who clothes the field in flowers is well able to take care of us! Such a rich and beautiful reminder that our creative Saviour has no limits and no bounds to His care, love and concern for us! May the Lord continue to bless you in all you do my dear friend!
