The Lord Is King!

God the LORD is a great God,
and a great King above all gods.
- Psalm 95:3 -

The Lord is King!
Lift up, lift up thy voice - sing His praise, sing His praise!
All heav'n and earth before Him now rejoice - sing His praise, sing His praise!
From world to world the joy shall ring, for He alone is God and King:
from sky to sky His banner fling - sing His praise, sing His praise!

The Lord is King!
Let all His worth declare - great is He, great is He!
Bow to His will and trust His tender care - great is He, great is He!
Nor murmur at His wise decrees, nor doubt His steadfast promises;
in humble faith fall on thy knees - great is He, great is He!

The Lord is King!
And bow to Him ye must - God is great, God is good!
The Judge of all to all is ever just - God is great, God is good!
Holy and true are all His ways: let ev'ry creature shout His praise;
The Lord of Hosts, Ancient of Days - God is great, God is good!

The Lord is King!
Throughout His vast domain He is all, all in all!
The Lord Jehovah evermore shall reign - He is all, all in all!
Through earth and heav'n one song shall ring,
from grateful hearts this anthem spring:
Arise, ye saints, salute thy King - all thy days, sing His praise!
- Josiah Condor -

The Lord is King for ever and ever.
- Psalm 10:16 -

They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom,
and talk of thy power;
To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts,
and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.
- Psalm 145:11-13 -

And the seventh angel sounded;
and there were great voices in heaven, saying,
The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord,
and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
- Revelation 11:15 -

As believers of Jesus Christ
we are personally related to the Lord Jehovah,
who is King of heaven and earth and will reign forever.
Some day we shall see Him and begin to enjoy His eternal presence.
What a day that will be!

Have a blessed and joyous Lord's Day.
Love and hugs to you, friend!

He is our King and Remeeder!
Such a wonderful collection of beautiful & sweet rabbits, Squirrels and birds, Stephanie! The snow and these pretty small animals does bring me back to the Januarys and Februarys in my childhood - the joy of seeing a rabbit - or the steps in the snow ... was such a delight!
Thank you for making me smile ... And for the blessing!
Enjoy the beautiful creation with all the glimpses of His joy and grace, God brings to your days, dear friend!

Lovely song, Stephanie! I was just reading about the author and ran across this in a critique.

"His finest hymns are marked by much elevation of thought expressed in language combining both force and beauty. They generally excel in unity, and in some the gradual unfolding of the leading idea is masterly. The outcome of a deeply spiritual mind, they deal chiefly with the enduring elements of religion. Their variety in metre, in style, and in treatment saves them from the monotonous mannerism which mars the work of many hymn writers."

"monotonous mannerism" O.O lol

Have a great Lord's Day!

And to think that we are His daughters! What a glorious thought that because of Jesus' redemptive work on the cross, we can be elevated to such a place of honor and joy! I loved these words and have never heard of this author or this song, so thank you for the introduction. :) The part that stood out to me the most is how He is our ALL IN ALL. Oh, the times He has brought that thought to me over the past year or so. I will often hear His voice telling me that He is a jealous God, and He wants to be our all in all...that He wants us to TRUST Him and to let go of our own ideas, opinions, and safety nets and allow HIM to be our all in all. This post just really resonated with me today. Thank you for always being faithful to speak what God places upon your heart. You are a precious gift to us all! :)

Hello Dear Stephanie. The Lord is, indeed, King. And He made those squirrels, didn't He? (Ohhhh, why did he make them. hee hee) I guess we must love all creatures great and small but I do have a problem with squirrels hopping on our roof, eating our birdseed and trying to get into the attic. ha! Take care. Hugs. Susan

Oh Stephanie, your pictures of all these critters are wonderful. It's so pretty around your neck of the woods. That squirrel fellow was my favorite. Although I'm a bit scared to get too close to them, I love taking pics of them. I see the turkeys around here all the time too. And look at all the snow, it's beautiful. Now, I'm wondering what kind of bird this is?

Have a splendid week, dear Stephanie. Yes, God is great!

Great photos and beautiful song! Loved seeing the wildlife. The other day my grandma came over to give us an art lesson. At the start of the lesson we noticed a rabbit sitting under the lilacs in my mother's garden. It was still there when we finished!

Stephanie... my goodness! Such talent you have in getting close enough to these precious creatures and getting such beautiful pictures! Do you know I have not seen even ONE rabbit here where we live! What are you feeding them? Maybe I need to put out some food for them. I loved the pictures of the squirrel too, so precious! And such a precious song to share along with your gorgeous pictures... a beautiful tribute to our mighty God, and my heart always lifts in praise to Him when I see the abundance of His beauty in creation! Bless you Stephanie for sharing such an uplifting post! May the Lord continue to bless you in all you do :)
