New Year Blessings To You, Friends!

A happy HELLO to you, sweet friends!
And Happy New Year!

Oh, how I have missed you!
I truly hope you had a wonderful Christmas season. . .
I would LOVE to hear all about your gatherings and festivities
so please feel free to share all about it in the comment section.
As for our Christmas. . .
it was good, but different.
And by different I mean my little one got the tummy bug
on the Thursday before Christmas
and then on Christmas day it decided to visit again along with a cold.
We had to forgo the festivities at church and my in-laws
which was quite sad, but unfortunately it couldn't be helped.
Thankfully he has completely recovered
and we have started the New Year off with health and happiness.

I am still wrapping my mind around the fact that it's now 2017.
I know I'm not the only one asking where 2016 went.
This year will be my 5th year blogging
and I am anticipating great and wonderful things for this little ol' blog of mine.
I want to take the time to thank you, sweet friends and followers of mine,
for faithfully following along and commenting on the many posts I share.
Your words always bring a smile to my face
and the kindness you share in comments and emails
touches the very depths of my heart.
Your support keeps this blog going so thank you. . .
thank you for everything, dear ones.
I hope you continue on the journey with me
as I share about my love for the Lord, beloved hymns,
tea related things, crafting and sewing tutorials, recipes, and more.

While on my break I did some sewing
and restocked my Etsy shop
There are lots of new goodies to be had
including some sweet Valentine's Day items.

And have I got a delightful treat for you. . .
For only $25.00 you can purchase a SURPRISE BOX of handmade goodies
that is valued at $50.00 or more.

Inside this box you might find:

Christmas decor

Autumn treasures

Spring delights

Shabby loveliness

Tea related items

Throw Pillows

Tote Bags

Aprons

Baby Items

AND MORE!

Who doesn't love surprises, my friends?
This is a limited time offer
and I have only 5 listings available.

Here are a few things you will find listed at
Rose Petal Blessings.

~ Baby Delights ~

~ Tea Goodies ~

~ Gift Bags and Storage Bins ~

~ Tote Bags and Zippered Pouches ~

~ And some random sweetness ~

Well my lovely friends,
I have rambled on long enough.
I wanted to let you know that I am back from my blogging break
and it will be an absolute delight to catch up with all of you.

May God be with you through the New Year
and fill your life with comfort, love, and cheer.
May this day and the days ahead,
hold many blessings for you and yours.

Much love and sweet hugs to you!

The happiest of New Year's to you, my friend! I am so sorry to hear that you all got hit with a nasty bug right before Christmas Day, but I'm glad to hear that it has passed and you all were able to start the new year off healthy and well.

I must say, all of your Etsy shop lovelies are just beautiful! I am still enjoying my tote bag set thoroughly. I've decided to use it as a knitting bag/book bag, which is quite handy, indeed {{smiles}} It is such a gorgeous set, and I smile whenever I use it!!

It is so good to see you back at blogging after taking a wee little break...I look forward to reading here this year and learning more from you! May this little corner of the web continued to be blessed by God!!

Thinking of you and wishing you and your family a very happy 2017! I hope it is a year of abundant blessings, much joy and happiness and lots of goodness ♥

With love and joy,
Libby

Hi Stephanie, I too am sorry you had sickness with your little one, and glad for you that he is better. Made me think of Queen Elizabeth and her nasty cold at age 90. I hope God grants her a full recovery. Imagine being 90! My life has slowed down alot due to my Parkinson diagnosis/symptoms. We must count our blessings and rejoice in God our Saviour! Nothing can alter the love of God and his plans and provision for us. I am on the h unt for more 300 piece puzzles by Susan Brabeau. Its tempting to buy 500 pieces but 300 are so much more fun for me. And I can handle them myself if I get no help...haha. Wishing you a blessed 2017! love, Maggie Ann

Happy New Year Stephanie! It is always nice to visit you here and share moments in our lives. Too bad for your little guy to be unwell on Christmas, but I think it's happened to the best of us. I hope he recovered quickly and was able to make the best of the days afterwards. Our Christmas was quiet with only the four of us, and I didn't see any other family. I'm not really sure why none of us got together, but it made for a strange, unfinished holiday for me.
Your sewn items are just gorgeous Stephanie! You do such beautiful work and I've seen a lot of your items shared on others' blogs as they gift them to their friends. Small world. Speaking of which I had an interesting exchange with your mom recently which you'll have to ask her about. Seems we used to be practically neighbours! It still makes me smile and shake my head ;)

Oh Dearest Stephanie, I am so truly sorry that your sweet boy was sick. That tummy mess was going around and still is along with colds. My youngest daughter has struggled off and on for 2 weeks with cold. Three of my five grands has had the tummy stuff. It through it all it did not affect our Christmas. That is a big WOW. I remember once as a teen being so sick on Christmas that I could not even stand the smell of cooking. I pray that you all have a blessed and healthy New Year Stephanie. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

It's so nice to see your post today, sweet friend! I know it was with sadness that your little fella was sick for Christmas, but now all is well in the New Year. You've been so busy over your break and have so many lovely items in your shoppe. I had to smile when seeing the fox fabric. Kristen picked out Minky fox fabric for me to make Harper a change pad, and matching diaper wipes case, before she was born. I had enough left over to make a drawstring backpack, too.
Happy New Year blessings to you and your sweet family! Love you!

I was just thinking, goodness, I've been blogging 10 years... Where does the time go. I've had several different titles over the years ans my life has had changes. Some of my dearest friends are those I've met on the blog, and have had the opportunity to meet a couple of them in person and share much time with them.

Dear Stephanie ... ♥ Welcome Back ♥ I have been away from blogging for a while and it is nice to be back. It is so nice to visit you and see what has been going on in your neck of the woods. We had Christmas with our son, 'daughter' and her parents. We had a lovely time together, a delicious dinner and opening gifts from one another. New Year's Eve was a quiet evening for us. We did make it until just past midnight. It was a short night as we were up bright and early to get ready for our church service on New Year's Day. We did snuggle in for an afternoon nap on New Year's Day afternoon. I am sorry to hear that your son was not feeling well, but so happy to here that he is on the mend. I enjoyed seeing all the "pretties" you have been working on. Wishing you and your family a blessed New Year. Love & Hugs ♥ Teri

Hello,
So happy to have a post from you in my inbox. :-)

We enjoyed a lovely Christmas. We traveled back home to my parents farm. We stayed 4 days. It was nice to have time with my parents.
We enjoyed Cross Country Skiing and playing board games.

We did have to travel back a bit earlier, because of a storm moving in. Thankful we made it home before it hit. And did it hit. Lots of freezing rain! And 50 mile an hour wind gusts.

So thankful God protected us. We were all snug in our home.

I am thankful your family is feeling better. Sorry to hear about the illness. We had a Thanksgiving like that a few years ago.

Happy New Year,
Carla

Hello there Stephanie! Well by now your little is back to being himself. We had it over here beginning November 19th, and still have the remnants of it left...it was awful! I think on a hole this past Holiday season was different for most of us! Definitely different for us as well. But one thing that has not changed or is different is the Birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen!

Going to hop over to your shop and take in some eye candy. Everything always looks so lovely. Here's to a Blessed 2017 to one and all!
Happy New Year!!! Tilda

Happy New Year Stephanie! Our family has been down since boxing day. Getting sick during the holidays seems very unfair and yet, for us there is no better opportunity for rest.
2017 seems like a number somewhere in the distant future. I remember when I first had to write the year 2000 on something and I truly could not wrap my mind around it.
Your Etsy shop is so beautiful, and I wish you much success with it this year, so you have room to create more beautiful items!
