A good day to you,
faithful friends and readers!
Today I have a slightly different post,
but it's one I hope you will enjoy.
I have seen and read several posts
where the author shares certain things she is enjoying
during the month of May, June, etc
so I thought I would do the same just for the fun of it.
I gathered up a few items that I am currently loving right now
and they range from hair products to music.
I was introduced to the Moroccan oil a while ago
and since that day my hair met this wonderful hair product
I have been in love.
I am "picky" about what I put on my hair
as it's very thick, straight, and a tad coarse.
I apply the oil to damp hair and massage it in
and oh, what softness awaits me when I'm done styling my hair.
Sometimes I will add a bit of oil
after I'm done styling for extra shine and softness.
And may I add that the oil does not leave your hair greasy.
And may I add that the oil does not leave your hair greasy.
The volumizing mousse is amazing
and after applying it to the roots it feels like there is nothing in your hair.
Have you ever noticed how some volumizing mousse
Have you ever noticed how some volumizing mousse
can leave your hair feeling heavy and "gunky?"
Well, this definitely does not do that.
And the scent of both products is simply delightful.
If you are on Pinterest
you may have seen the many ads for this selfless tanning lotion
from Just Nutritive.
I have seen the ads since last year
and this year I finally decided to give it a try.
Love, love, love it!
You know how it is after a looooong winter. . .
your arms, legs, and face are rather white.
In my case, very white!
This lovely cream worked a miracle on my skin
and gave me a nice sun-kissed glow.
Once I achieved the color I desired
I simply backed off from applying it every day
and now only apply once or twice a week
to keep the "glow" glowing.
And did I mention this product is all natural.
Ahhh. . .
I can't say enough good things about these peel-off masks.
Have you ever tried one?
If you haven't I highly recommend you do.
They feel ever so good {{smiles}}
I have very sensitive skin,
but these masks don't irritate my face at all.
The other night I used one and my husband was there when I pulled it off.
He looked at my face and was surprised to see how well it worked.
Yes, even he noticed a difference.
You can find them at Wal-Mart for just over $1.00
and from what I can tell they are all-natural.
This particular mask clears the skin and tightens the pores.
Oh, HELLO!
Here is Melly and Duke checking out my next favorite items.
Let's try this again. . .
So my skin tends to be oily
and in the mornings I used to hold off on moisturizer
due to the oiliness making my makeup look hideous. . .
you know, runny and blotchy.
A few months ago I started using Estee Lauder's DayWear Matte Gel Creme
and my oh my, what a fantastic product!
Before applying my makeup I use this moisturizer along with a primer
{also from Estee Lauder}
and my makeup stays in place all day.
Oh, I might touch it up in the afternoon,
but the oiliness is practically gone.
Also from Estee Lauder is this fantastic Set + Refresh Mist
that feels amazing on the skin.
I use it in the morning and in the afternoon when I need a little pick-me-up
I spritz my face and the finished result is a refreshed face with a soft glow.
And the last item from Estee Lauder is their mascara.
I have used this product since I was in college
and for a few years I stopped using it
because I couldn't find a place nearby to purchase it.
Thanks to online shopping I can now have it delivered right to my home.
I have always thought their mascara to be the best and I still think that.
Thanks to the kittens playing with my backdrop for my pictures
you get to look at them now since they are front and center.
{{smiles}}
Apparently it's nap time. . .
After a little snooze we're back on track.
My husband and son gave me this darling necklace for Mother's Day.
It has officially become my favorite necklace.
On it you will find a Papa Bird, Mama Bird, and Baby Bird.
You can find the necklace on Etsy at Menuet Designs.
At the moment I can't get enough of this lovely fabric
from Sew Stitching Happy on Etsy.
Look closely and you will see tea labels
on the pink fabric.
And the last, but certainly not least thing I am enjoying is
Nocturne in E flat major Op. 9 No. 2 by Frederic Chopin.
Currently I have several songs that I am working on
and this is one of them.
Oh, what a mesmerizing piece!
Click on the video to enjoy the music.
The pianoist adds so much emotion to his performance. . .
you can feel it.
I know this is a rather different post,
but I sincerely hope you enjoyed it.
I would love to hear what things you are enjoying at the moment
so please feel free to share in the comment section.
And please know that I am simply sharing what is "tickling my fancy at the moment"
and I am not being paid for sharing these particular items
nor are the links affiliate links.
Have a beautiful and blessed day!
Love and hugs.
Oh, and one more thing. . .
Here is a photo of Duke
since he hardly got in on the action with the other kittens.
Believe it or not, he was the good boy
which cannot always be said about him - HA!
Oh, and one more thing. . .

Happy Flag Day,
my friends!
Oh, say can you see by the dawn’s early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,
O’er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

Thanks for sharing this with us. What do the tea tree peel off masks do for your face? Are they all natural?

I enjoyed reading all about your favorite things. I'm pretty sketchy about what I use cosmetically;sometimes whatever is on sale. I really like Arbonne products. My daughter in law is a consultant. They are a bit pricey though for my budget. The piano piece is beautiful! I always wanted to play piano but unfortunately never took lessons. My self taught method got me to "Moon River" using both treble and base cleft but that was it. I've had better luck with stringed instruments like the violin, guitar and now the dulcimer. Have a blessed day.
Hi Stephanie, my daughter and I will have to try the oil for the hair. I hear it's really good. I also would love to try out the sunless tanning lotion since I'm very fair skinned. Thanks for sharing this beauty post. I love your necklace and the kittens are so cute.
Hope you have a nice day.
Julie
What a fun post! Love hearing about the products and seeing those kitties! Hugs!
What an interesting post about all your favourite things! Your kittens are growing up fast, and so lovely.
I loved reading this post! I have naturally curly hair that I used foam rollers on once a week to control the frizz and I had looked at the oil you mentioned and now I will try it!!
~Mrs. J~
Hi Stephanie, A very enjoyable post and I am listening to the pretty piano music now. I have always loved Estee Lauder's products. Thanks for sharing about the sunless tanning lotion too - I am paler than a newborn baby! lol
The kittens are so sweet and I love seeing them on your posts. Have a lovely day. xo
Thank you for sharing
I love this post
Big hugs x
I am in love with this post! Checking out a few of your goodies. YES, great minds were indeed thinking alike this week. LOL! Loved the pictures too. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
What a fun post! I enjoyed reading what's making you happy right now.
Thank you for sharing...I have to get some of the sunless tanning lotion. I'm white as a sheet. lol
Have a great rest o' the week!
Enjoyed reading about what's tickling your fancy, some of them tickled my fancy too. Definitely want to try the Moroccan Oil and face mask. The kittens are too cute, looks like they wanted to steal the show!
What a fun post, Stephanie! I think you could do one of these every now and then. It's a fun glimpse into your life, and it is always lovely to get good honest recommendations from a friend, whether for products or gifts or recipes. :) I absolutely LOVE that little bird necklace, what a precious gift, and I instantly went to their shop page and found MY favorite and saved it to my list. :) You know me and birds! Hope you and your family have a sweet day, and that the kittens behave themselves today too. ;) Loved how you worked them into this post.
Your kitties are soooo sweet! What cuties!!!
Love all the beauty tips! I only use stuff that is organic - so I will definitely look into the sunless tanning lotion! I'm always on the hunt for a good one. Does it rub off on your clothes or have a scent?
Thanks so much! Blessings, Net :)
Yes I love this post! I enjoy seeing what others like with anything! The kitties are too cute! I might have to check out the suntan lotion. I also like the material too!
Have a great day!
Jo
Your kittens are quite the photo stars, and the hair products are interesting. Love the flag.
Hi Stephanie...thanks for sharing a few of your favorite things with us! I am curious about the mouse you mentioned. Can you get that on Amazon? It's always fun to see what others are trying out. I never buy anything online without reading the reviews! Can those kitties get any cuter? I just can't possibly see how! I would love to hear your piano playing and I think that you need to make a video of you playing and share it with us! I hope the rest of your week is blessed...HUGS!
I was completely entranced with your post and was thinking as I read it I really need to do this because Id been focusing on the negative a lot lately... so I do hope you don't mind, but I borrowed it and it did help me wonderfully to count my blessing last and small and I do wand to thank you for the uplifting idea!
I am a fan of Estee Lauder and love the perfume range too. Those kittens are a joy.
I think Duke is perfectly named. The kittens are so sweet, and it makes me want to get another one or two (our two kitty-girls went to heaven last year, a few months apart).
Thanks for sharing your favorite things.
I use the prescious Argan oil for the skin, you become a baby face ;-)
The little kittens are so cute!!!
I never do all these things. Before they went of business, used Ester Lauder for many years. Now only use Clinique.
I have always loved Estee Lauder products. The hair treatments you mentioned sound nice too Thanks for sharing your favorites
Fun to see your favorite things at the moment. I want to do the same on my blog and it's on my "to do" list for my blog! There are a couple of things I want to try, like the suntan natural glow lotion and the tea tree oil face peel. I'm always so white, any time of the year.. just don't wear shorts much anymore or get my legs in the sun! Some things I'm enjoying at the moment are my beautiful scrapbook papers (I lay them out just so I can look at them)... my flowers....some pretty scented light green tealight candles I found that have a very soft flowery smell and are the color I want to paint our house! Also loving my new Kindle HD tablet! Take care.. have a wonderful week! Marilyn in Oregon
Love this post Friend! It brings us into your life a little more. I have recently changed to natural makeup and have started using younique brand. I have enjoyed their primer and foundation so far!
Your kitty's are adorable!
I have loved Moroccan Oil for a long time now. It is the only thing that tames my fine, naturally wavy hair. Estee Lauder makes beautiful products, and I also struggle with oily skin, especially when I don't sleep well. That sunless tanning lotion sounds good, I should like to give it a try. Maybe it would help even out the look I have going on now from the garden. Yikes!
Enjoy the rest of your week,
Andrea
I love posts like this! I have not heard of any of these products so it is intriguing to me to try some of them. I will be trying the peel off masks first, only because I am in Walmart all the time and I can get them right away!!
Thank you for sharing this delightful post. For my hair I argan oil. I am also a piano player - I need to practise more however it is most enjoyable
I used to play at recitals as a teenager! I love that you too play the piano. I would love to learn how to play the violin but first I have to save up to get a good quality one. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
I have always hated putting 'goo and gunk' in my hair, but perhaps I might have to give that oil a try. I don't wear makeup either - used to, but had a very serious allergic reaction around my eyes and I stopped. Now it's just a teeny bit of lipstick (provided I remember!). Loved your post today - so many interesting things to read about - and of course those wonderful little kitties made my day!
A fun post and when you have that piece learned, I'd love to hear you play it!
I love lists like this. I always go here and there looking at some of the things you mentioned. I do love that sweet necklace with your initials. I'll put that Etsy shop in my favs! Lots of hugs, Diane
Lovely review. I am quite interested in the mask. Your kitties are so cute! In my book change is always good! Have a wonderful week my sweet friend!
What a super cute bird necklace! Now that the hot weather has arrived, ice cream and froyo have been tickling my fancy!
Happy Flag Day! Your kittens are just adorable.
I loved reading all the things that are tickling your fancy. Such a fun post!
Loved this beautiful post, Stephanie!!!!
I am going to share them with Madison. : )
Have a cozy evening, my lovely friend.
Oh...and those kittens???
So sweet.
I really enjoyed this post of yours, cherished friend !
Wishing you a most beautiful remainder of your week,
I'm sending blessings of you across the many miles,
always thinking of you with so much love and gratitude, precious Stephanie
XOXO Dany
What a great post, Stephanie, smiles. I use Clinique cleansers, makeup etc. I wondered about the oil products, I have fine, baby hair. Probably won't work on that, the girl who cuts my hair introduced me to Matrix Total Results.
Anyways, just dropping in to say hello, my friend...had no intentions of writing all that, LOL. Have a beautiful Thursday my friend.
Good morning beautiful one! It sounds like you and I have the same type of hair. I've always had healthy hair, even to this day as it is starting to gray at the temples. BUT! I think I may want to look at this product! Oh how lovely are the summer months when our fancys can be tickled more acutely; what's tickling mine? My pink rose climber, the soft breezes animated by my white whispy curtains in the covered deck, the freedom to think and create a tad.
BE WELL!
I have used a Mask peel before, and love how soft my face feels, although I haven't lately. Your sweet kitty's tickled my fancy! So cute!
I always love reading about my friends' favorite products! Thank you for sharing some of yours, my sweet friend. Your necklace is just darling, and what a special gift that was for Mother's Day. Your three little kittens are growing and are ever so darling!!! Enjoy your day, Stephanie, and thanks for your fun post. Love and hugs to you from me.
What a fun post! Nocturne in E flat major Op. 9 No. 2 is one of my favorite pieces by Chopin, and Chopin is probably my favorite composer. I have a collection of Chopin cds that I love to listen to while I sew.
Your kittens are growing so fast!! They are adorable!
Oh! I am SO trying those hair products. Have to go to beauty supply this week to get color to touch up my 'natural' color hair hahaha! So I will grab those as well. I too have tried some of the sunless tanning lotions but not that one so going to try that as well! Your kitties are just adorable!!
Well this was a fun post to read!!! I am most intrigued with the sunless tanning product. I have a terrible time with them and always end up with orange looking skin and noticeable lines no matter how thoroughly I rub it in. I must try this! I am listening to Nocturne in E Flat right now! It is one of my favorites and a piece that I used to play a lot....I have been meaning to get my piano tuned as it is currently so badly in need of tuning that it is not a pleasure to play. It hurts my ear! Plus my sustain pedal does not work. Must call to get that fixed!! Have a happy day my friend! Enjoyed this post!
xo

Well of course after the cute kittens it was the little bird necklace that caught my fancy - along with the little birdie "be still" plate, now that is something this little bird should try to do ... greetings from England by the way :)

A most enjoyable post! I always enjoy hearing about different products and may just have to give that sunless tanning lotion a try. Happy weekend!
I enjoyed this different post, especially with one of my favorite pieces of music playing in the background.

it is always fun to hear what other people really like.... that is a very sweet necklace you got for Mother's day. I always like to hear about things that are natural to use also :)
I can't think of anything right now that I could share with you.
Thanks for sharing this with us! I will have to check into the tanning lotion, as I am still looking a bit like Casper :)
Your kittens are adorable!
My hairdresser introduced me to Moroccan Oil - it is excellent.
Lovely to read your post.
All the best Jan
Thank you for sharing more about your special things. About more of who you are. Your a beautiful person and I love the special touches in your life. Praying you have a lovely day!
Thanks for sharing your "fancies"! I too have been using an oil mist on my hair as mine is slightly wavy and frizzy, and I need something on it in the humid summertime. I had never considered oil until my daughter suggested it. That's a cute necklace you have for your family. I can see why it's your favourite ;)
Enjoy your week ahead Stephanie!
Wendy
What a fun post my friend! I have some of the Moroccan oil but have been afraid it will leave my hair oily. I will have to try it. The face spritz thing sounds lovely especially in the hot weather. And Duke does look like he could get into mischief!! xo
I love the sound of that Moroccan oil. I may need to try that soon. ;)
Can I give a FIVE STARS for this post? :) Really, it was wonderful to hear things that are working for you and products that you are enjoying. It is good to hear from someone I trust, as it is hard to believe all the advertisements sometimes. I too, am quite fair, although I do tan up during the summer, but a little help would be nice! I will check it out :)
Sure do love the Nocturne in E flat, I must tell my daughter about it, perhaps she can learn it too. It is beautiful!
Hope you are having a blessed and wonderful summer... those sweet little kitties, are hilarious! How much fun they are, so nosy and into everything! LOL! Hugs to you today dear friend :)
Hello dear Stephanie. Your kitties are super adorable, so photogenic! Thank you for the great tips in this post and I hope your computer is soon fixed.
Have a wonderful week with hugs from us :)
