In His Time

A blessed and beautiful Sunday to you, dearest friends.
As many of you know my Grandma Dee Ann is in the hospital
due to heart issues and complications. . .
she is still in critical condition.
On this quiet Sunday morning
I can't help but think of one of her favorite songs
and that is In His Time.

In His time, in His time,
he makes all thing beautiful in His time.
Lord, my life to you I bring,
may each song I have to sing,

In your time, in your time,
you make all things beautiful in your time.
Lord, my life to you I bring,
may each song I have to sing,
be to you a lovely thing, in your time.
- Diane Ball -

I am trusting that the Lord will make all things beautiful in His time.
I know whatever He decides for my precious grandmother
it will indeed be beautiful.

Precious Lord, take my hand, lead me on, help me stand-
I am tired, I am weak, I am worn;
thru the storm, thru the night, lead me on to the light-
Take my hand, precious Lord, lead me home.

When my way grows drear, precious Lord, linger near-
when my life is almost gone.
Hear my cry, hear my call, hold my hand lest I fall-
Take my hand, precious Lord, lead me home.
- Thomas A. Dorsey -

For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand,
saying unto thee,
Fear not; I will help thee.
- Isaiah 41:13 -

Thank you for visiting, sweet friends.
I hope you have a most wonderful and joyous Lord's Day!
{{{ hugs }}}

It feels so good to pay you a visit and drink in your beauty.
Talked with grandma today, it is a resting day for her so as to allow her body to heal for the procedure.
So many prayer worriers out there on her behalf and my heart is grateful.
This is a beautiful piece that grandma and I came to learn years ago at a ladies retreat we attended shortly after I came to know Christ as my Savior,I too enjoy the words to this piece.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful post and remembering grandma.
Love you, Mom

Oh, dearest Stephanie, I am praying for you and your family. I trust that God will give you all peace and strength for the days ahead. Thank you so much for sharing these beautiful words of hope and truth. I especially love the second one and remember well singing it and not having as much meaning as it does each day that passes. Our perspective changes as we age, and we know that our hearts yearn for Home. May God bless you all, sweet Stephanie. It was a joy to visit today and read the precious words and see the beautiful images of God's creation. Much love and hugs! xoxo

In His Time indeed! Oh yes, it is so difficult with your precious Grandma in the hospital and I know just how it feels, as my husband's dear mother is in the hospital too, and it is just so hard to know they are in pain and suffering. I will continue to be in prayer for your dear Grandma and your mother, who I know is there with her, and for your Grandfather too... so much hurting in your family right now, I know it must be especially hard. I will be praying for all of you, that In His Time the Lord will heal those who are to stay here on earth and lovingly carry home those to whom it is their time to come be with Him.

I loved the pictures of the gorgeous flower you shared, just a beautiful combination! With love and hugs, praying for you dear friend!

Dear Stephanie, it is so incredibly hard to let go of those we love. I hope that time has not come for you, but may God bless you with His peace and comfort whatever He chooses for you grandma. He knows her every need and yours as well, sister. Thank you for sharing her favorite song.

Hollyhocks are one of my favorite flowers and I enjoyed these photos. Are they a favorite of your grandmothers? They are such cheerful, old-fashioned flowers, aren't they?

Psalms 37:7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him...

Gorgeous paper thin flowers to go with your lovely and reassuring post. We know God has all things in his hands and that can be reassuring. May he bring peace and freedom from pain soon!

I will be praying for your grandmother and for comfort for you and your family. <3 What good taste in hymns she has. :) My mom and I learned In His Time in American Sign Language when I was in school and sang/signed it at church. Both hymns you chose are good reminders that He is with us!
