If I Live - Book Review

Casey Cox is still on the run after being indicted for murder.
The hunt that began with her bloody footprints escalates,
and she's running out of places to hide.
Her face is all over the news, and her disguises are no longer enough.
It's only a matter of time before someone recognizes her.

Dylan Roberts, the investigator who once hunted her,
is now her only hope.
Terrifying attempts on Dylan's life could force Casey out of hiding.
The clock is ticking on both their lives,
but exposing the real killers is more complicated than they knew.
Amassing the evidence to convict their enemies draws Dylan and Casey together,
but their relationship has consequences.
Will one life have to be sacrificed to protect the other?

With If I Live, Terri Blackstock takes us on one more heart-stopping chase
in the sensational conclusion to the If I Run series.

My Thoughts

WOW!
I knew Terri Blackstock was good,
but I didn't know she was THIS GOOD!
If I Live is a phenomenal conclusion
to the If I Run series.
I found the series to be unique
because the story went through all three books,
and with each book the action continued and the suspense was nonstop.
The author doesn't waste time retelling everything in the beginning of each book,
but rather picks up right where she left off.
I highly recommend this series if you are a lover of suspense
and I encourage you to read all three books in order
because if you don't it will be almost impossible to follow the story.

The characters are incredibly well-developed
and easy to follow.
Casey, the main character, is an astounding woman. . .
a woman of strength and integrity.
Throughout the books you will feel the heartache and desperation
Casey faces, and along the way you will read about her journey of faith
as she comes to realize there is only one Lord and Savior
and He desires for her to be His beloved child.

Everything is perfect in this series.
The author brings just the right amount
of faith, romance, suspense, plot twists, and action to the table.
Terri Blackstock's gift for writing will keep you glued to the story, my friends.
I started reading If I Live the night I received it
and finished it the next day.
I simply couldn't put the book down!
I read late into the night. . .or rather morning
and was on the edge of the bed the entire time.
Again, I will say WOW!

I will end this review with a quote from James Scott Bell,
bestselling author of the Mike Romeo thrillers,
because he said it perfectly,
“If I Live is a grabber from page one,
delivering an exhilarating mix of chase, mystery, and spiritual truth.
Longtime Blackstock fans will be delighted,
and new Blackstock fans will be made.”

This book series sounds great! Perfect timing too because my husband is heading to the library and he is going to pick it up for me! I need something to read. I read before bed so hopefully it doesn't charge me up too much reading it before I try to sleep :-)

Yay!!! I didn't know this one was out so I will be looking for a copy. I love Terri Blackstock and have read the previous two in this series and loved them. I think I've read pretty much everything she's written...so far.
