Grandma Betty

This blog is in honor of my precious Grandma Betty.

She was the one to inspire me to take up crafting and sewing,
she encouraged me to be joyful and positive,
she taught me to be silly, have fun, and laugh,
she showed me how to love life during the good times and the bad,
and instilled in me the importance of dessert after lunch and supper! :)

Grandma Betty will always be a one-of-a-kind darling woman
whom I greatly love and admire.

She holds my heart and my love . . .

XOXOXOXOX

Your love of Grandma Betty is the same I felt for mine all those years ago. She passed away at 104 1/2 in l978 and not a day goes by that I don't think of her. She was first best friend. :)

How extremely lucky we both are to both have had a Grandma Betty. My Grandma Betty sewed & painted & was such a special loving soul.
I have just found your blog, it is beautiful.

Stephanie, reading this about your lovely grandmother made a beautiful start to my day! My grandmothers were wonderful and a huge influence in my life, and I love to hear other women's grandmother stories.

Love your site, it is so lovely! I hope that I can be that kind of gramma to my 2 grandsons. I spend time drawing, reading, painting, letting them play my piano, making, playing Batman/cars/whatever, in the floor with them, watching their cartoons, watching them play, as they often say, 'watch me "S" .(they call me my my first initial since forever. The other gramma is "B" for Barb). This is a "feel-good" blog for sure!
