felt
scissors
lace
ribbon
hot glue gun and glue
embellishments
Cut out a 3.5-inch circle from the felt.
Cut a 9-inch strip of string.
Apply a dab of hot glue onto the front of the felt
and place the ends of the ribbon onto the glue.
Cut. . .
12 strips of lace that are 5 inches long,
8 strips of lace that are 4 inches long,
4 strips of lace that are 3 inches long.
Start with the 5 inch long strips
and fold over both ends of lace so they meet in the middle on the backside.
Apply a little bit of hot glue in between the fold and on the back.
Place on the felt circle and pinch together
{ be careful - the glue is hot }
Use the 5-inch strips all the way around on the edge.
Next use the 4-inch strips to fill in the circle.
Then, finish with the 3-inch strips.
When you're done,
you will have a small hole remaining.
Place a button or bead in the middle for the finishing touch.
Easy peasy and oh so pretty! :)
Have a beautiful day!
