Peanut butter cookies are one of my favorites
and I had a craving for them the other day
and I had a craving for them the other day
so I found this recipe and whipped up a batch.
I have tried several peanut butter cookie recipes
and I think this is my favorite one so far.
The cookies have wonderful flavor
and they practically melt in your mouth.
and they practically melt in your mouth.
Ingredients Needed:
2 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
white sugar for rolling dough in
I got about 5 dozen cookies, but if you don't want that many then just cut the recipe in half.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Sift together flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
In a medium mixing bowl,
cream together butter, peanut butter, white sugar and brown sugar until smooth.
Beat in eggs, then stir in vanilla.
Gradually blend in the sifted ingredients.
Shape dough into 1 inch balls.
Roll in remaining sugar.
Place onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Criss-cross with fork tines.
Bake for 8 - 10 minutes in preheated oven.
Cool slightly and remove from pan onto cooling racks.
What are your favorite cookies?
Have a lovely day :)

My favorite cookies are m&m with chocolate chip or oatmeal chocolate chip, and of course peanut butter if they look as good as yours.

Yes, absolutely! I can't choose Chocolate from peanut butter though. Don't you love the rolling over the sugar? I love it. Enjoy my friend!
I love peanut butter but not in a cookie. I am little strange I guess. I have to watch are I will eat too much on crackers. I used to live on it and bananas mashed together on bread when growing up.
Wow - my mom used to make these exactly the same way when we were little. These cookies make me so nostalgic and miss being a child.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and following. I am following you back now.
Blessings for Oklahoma,

Hi Stephanie! Thank you for the recipe, these cookies look absolutely delicious. I love peanut butter cookies too. They were my dear father-in-laws favorite cookies and I would always save a dozen for him. He has been gone for awhile now, but I always think of him whenever I pull out the cookie sheets. His face would light up like a little boy's! :) It is such a sweet memory. I hope you have a lovely friday! Delisa :)

Hmmmm... I know for DSLR's you can buy an ultraviolet filter for under ten dollars that will protect your lens. It's a great investment in saving your camera. What about getting an entry level DSLR?
