Thanks for this chance, and Happy Birthday to you both, friend! :) I also love Elizabethd's quote above; and MANY more! But one that I try to live by is Ephesians 4:26--"Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger". That's a very good one to live by! :)

Happy Birthday Stephanie!! (and to your son, too!) It's also my husband's birthday! May your day(s) be filled with the joy of the Lord.
Picking one verse is really difficult but I do fall back on Proverbs 3:5-6 and Galatians 6:9 when asked for a favorite!! Hope you are blessed by them.

PS That rose pattern looks so familiar, I may have a teacup with that pattern, but I think it's over at the church with our tea party things!
Blessings again!!

Wow! What a wonderful give a way! You are so sweet, kind and generous. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the both of you!!! :) I love you!

My favorite verse and life verse is "Love the Lord thy God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength, for this is the first commandment." Mark 12:30

That verse to me sums it all up as to living and loving my God and my Savior, and others.

Have a most wonderful Birthday today!!

Happy Birthday Stephanie, and to your son also. I won your Fall giveaway so I'm not entering this one, just want to wish you the best of everything. There are so many verses in the Bible that I love its hard to choose just one, today it's Psalm 37:7 Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him.

Jazzmin said...

What a sweet post... I hope you and your son both have a blessed and wonderful day today on your birthdays!! That could not be anymore neat that you were born at the same hospital on the same day with the same nurse! Wow, it is amazing how God works things :) And what sweet photos you shared with us.

Your giveaway is so lovely and generous... my favorite verse that truly gets me through every struggle is Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me". There are so many comforting and beautiful verses of course, but I think that one is the one I am comforted by most.

And I don't know if I am a no reply blogger or not- I'm not too tech savvy on blogger, haha, so I'm not actually even sure how to check or set that up...? But you can leave me a comment if I happen to win if that's alright :)

Hugs & Wishes to you for a beautiful day!

Happy Birthday, Stephanie, to you and your precious son! What a lovely birthday gift that year.
My verse is one I learned when I was little and has been my favourite ever since. Pretty common, but special to me. "For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16
I even have a bookmark with this on it, still used in my very first Bible.
Beautiful giveaways, Stephanie!
Debbie :)

Happy Birthday, sweet Stephanie and also to your son! How amazing that you both share the same birthday, and all the other details of your birth! Truly special. I hope you both have a wonderful day.

My favorite verse is Matthew 25:40 "What you do unto the least of these, you have done to me." This verse speaks to me of how we should treat one another.

Thank you for entering me in your very generous and sweet giveaway. Hugs, xoxo

Happy birthday, Stephanie. My goodness, what a wonderful birthday gift from God indeed. I share a birthday month with our son but sharing the date is amazing. Yesterday was our daughter's birthday. She turned 20, but still seems like it was yesterday that she came into our world. God gifted me with laughter so an April fool's baby was His was perfect. ;)
I love visiting with you and I like to do so when I'm not in a hurry. I really like the pale roses on your header. I'll take on of each.

Thank you for this lovely giveaway. Best wishes to all the ladies.
My favorite verse or quote would be very difficult as I love so many, but I think 1 Corinthians 14:1 is definitely up there..."Let love be your highest goal." (from NLT) Also Isaiah 40:8 "The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever."

Happy birthday to you AND to your son.

Sherri B. said...

A huge Happy Birthday to you and to your son. That is the sweetest story, The Lord was most certainly blessing you on your special day with all that came together.

My favorite verse is Exodus 14:14..this is what I would say to myself the entire time I was in my cancer treatment..expecially when I was in radiation..I would close my eyes and say "I am fighting for you..Be still". The peace that came over me could come from nothing else but Our Lord, Jesus. I repeat it all of the time and have it on the sidebar of my blog. It is more than just a favorite verse, it is when I finally realized the true power of the Holy Spirit, alive and inside of us if we do not push it away with fear.

You are such a blessing to so many, I do hope you have had a most lovely day, my friend. xo

First of all, Happy Birthday! What a beautiful birth story for both yourself and your son. May God grant you a wonderful year ahead.

My favorite scripture right now is Ephesians 3:20-21 - Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Stephanie! Happy birthday to you and your sweet little man. That is wonderful that you share the same birthdate! And the same hospital, doctor, and nurse. Truly amazing!

A favorite verse(s) of mine:

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. Psalm 91:1-4

Wow, Stephanie, you are so generous! Happy Birthday to both you and your son. In our family, we don't have any of the same birthdays, but we do have several holiday birthdays. My Dad was born on April Fools Day!

My Grandma, my Mom, me, and two of my kids were all born at the same hospital ... and my Grandma would have been 100 this past summer.

Here is my one of my favorite quotes:

"Good, better, best. Never let it rest, until the good is better and the better's best!"

Thanks so much for stopping by to see me!

Belated Happy Birthday!! I've gotten just a teeny bit behind. My favorite verse is so appropriate for your and your son's birthdays and all the accompanying "God-incidences". It's Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you..." If that doesn't fit, I don't know what would :-).
Love, Janet

Hope you and your son had a wonderful birthday this past week, Stephanie! I remembered to pray for you on your special day, but forgot to email. What a blessing your story is and you are right, you received an amazing birthday gift in him. I'm not sure what my favorite verse is because so many come to my heart and mind frequently. I rely on the passage in Matthew 6 about worry and I also hold tight to Jeremiah 29:11. Thanks for celebrating your birthday with gifts for others!

I hope I can be counted in this give away too? I'm not sure, as I dont live in the US. Anyway thought I'd tell you that my favourite verse is Matthew 6 - the bit that says, don;t store up your treasure on earth where it gets rusty and moth eaten and thieves break in to steal it . ..etc... LOVE that!
