Spring In The Mountains

Joy is overflowing from my heart
at the prospects of Spring here in the mountains.
The snow that we received in the last 2 weeks has now melted in our yard.
As you can see in this picture there is still snow up high, which is a huge blessing!

Today was just lovely!
My son and I spent most of the day outside catching some rays and enjoying the blue sky :)

The grass is turning green and the Dandelions are popping up.
My son picked my a bouquet yesterday.

There was even a butterfly and a bee.

The trees are beginning to bud.
Exciting for us here in Colorado
though most of you already have flowers blossoming on your trees :)

As they say,
"April shower bring May flowers."

The tulips are slowly coming up.
I will have to cover them before the deer enjoy them as a snack.

I hope each and everyone of you have a splendid weekend :)

Love and hugs!

As you can see from my own photos, we are experiencing about the same weather as you. Tulips are JUST starting to pop up; there are no leaves yet...but the promise of spring is here and we have been enjoying the great outdoors, as well.

Sorry I don't post much on here. I do enjoy your blog and your friendship and your Pinterest. :) hee!

Your photos are beautiful! I'm so jealous as we just got our first weekend without snow and cold so there are not many signs of flowers or buds popping up yet. But this weekend was warm so there is HOPE!

Gorgeous photos thank you for sharing! Signs of spring are beginning here, too! My yellow tulips should be blooming very soon! And, we noted a robin's nest right near our front door. It put a big smile on our faces!:-)
Take care, hugs!

It is so nice to see that your snow has finally left and there are signs of Spring. Soon you will have flowers and blossoms all around. I smiled when you said your son picked you a bouquet...my little granddaughters have been picking those same yellow 'flowers' too, so very sweet.

Have a very lovely weekend my friend. xo

I love the photos. especially the butterfly and bee. How amazing that you were able to snap the picture with them. Your father will be impressed. :)
We saw two robins out the kitchen window yesterday finding things to build their nest with. I love it!

Spring is in the air.

Fabulous pictures Stephanie - even the humble dandelions are beautiful in their own right. My friend says that weeds are simply flowers in the wrong place - how true!!
Have a good day!
