Acorn Candle Wrap

My mind hasn't wrapped around the fact that Summer is over
and Autumn will officially start in a couple of weeks.
Yesterday was cold, gloomy, and smelled of Fall...
have you noticed how the air takes on a crisp, fresh smell as Autumn begins to arrive?
This week is supposed to be cool and rainy - yes, Autumn is just around the corner.

I realized I have not done a Fall craft for my blog so yesterday I decided to remedy that.
It was the perfect day for enjoying time indoors
while creating something lovely for this time of year.
I started off with a quick trip to town
and got myself a yummy pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks
and some praline pecans for a tasty treat :)

So grab a little snack and maybe a hot cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate and we'll begin :)

Items needed for making an acorn candle wrap:

hot glue gun and glue
pumpkin button (optional)

Cut the burlap to fit around your candle and hot glue the edges to it.
Then arrange the acorns into a flower onto the center of your candle.
Real acorns would be adorable, but unfortunately I don't have any big acorns here
so I bought some at Hobby Lobby.

Keep it simple and don't add a pumpkin button to the center.

Or add a pumpkin button for a nice pop of color :)

Place your candle out in your home for the beautiful Autumn season and enjoy!

Blessings to you, friends!

Good Morning, Stephanie. I love this idea. I am so ready for Autumn. Burlap is so popular currently. Your candle is perfect for the season. Wishing you a great day.

Good Morning Stephanie!

I just came in from the garden... checking on our pumpkins...to see your wonderful fall tutorial! I just love the colors and the use of burlap and acorns...so "autumnish"! I was just thinking about some burlap that I had in my stash...and was going to try some of the napkins rings similar to the ones you make...but I think I may try this candle wrap as well...

We don't have a Starbucks...or a Hobby Lobby...close to our little fishing village...lucky you! I have to wait for a trip to the "big city" to get to a craft store...and the best I can do for a coffee treat is good ole' Dunkin Donuts! So many of my blogger friends rave about "Hobby Lobby"...I'd really like to visit one someday!

I am so enjoying the fall approaching. God paints such an incredible portrait of His Majesty in the colors and landscapes. How can one not believe???

Have a blessed day, my sweet friend...
With love,

That is a nice looking piece of fall! I'm finally going to believe autumn is on its way with the cooler temperatures this week out here on the eastern plains! Maybe I'll have some energy to do something without melting. Enjoy your cooler days!♥♫

Hi Stephanie! I loved your snack! Although I would have gotten a peppermint mocha. And this candle is so cute, I love candles.

it's in the 90's today, and not much like Fall. More like Summer here, but soon enough the leaves will change. It's my favorite season!

Blessings my friend!

I love this idea, and even I could do this project, so my plans are to give it a try.
This morning I did up some orange slices so I can do something festive with them. This year I am really looking forward to Fall, usually I'm not ready when it arrives, but not this year as I welcome it gladly.

Your pecans looked delicious!!

Beautiful photography with those berries on lace.
Thank you for the tutorial. :)

Bless you!

What a lovely way to dress up a candle! Truly creative and beautiful. I love decorating for nature's seasons with nature, and adding things like pinecones and acorns is such a pretty way!

This is so lovely to put in your home. It is so pretty with the burlap and the rich color of the candle and the orange pop of the button combined. And your acorns are so perfect and smooth! Our trees here make acorns that are big and really rough. They are neat, but I'll have to look for smooth ones like these because I'd love to do this :)

Your beautiful creation got me even more excited for Autumn. It sounds like it is definitely in the air where you are- how wonderful! And of course it's so much fun to get something tasty and warm and start a project- a pumpkin spice latte and praline pecans sound perfect :)

Have a blessed day, Stephanie!

Love and hugs to you!

Now, I'm just curious... but where on earth do you get these crafty ideas from and when do you find the time to do them all?

This is the perfect gift for my mom! She loves any kind of candle whether she burns them or not. I might have to run to Hobby Lobby this weekend and make some up for her for Christmas. Thanks! :)

It's been raining near Pueblo all day today and it's suppose to continue through the week. I'm ready for Fall, it's been too hot for too long here!! The coolness is here (for now) and I'm going to enjoy every moment of it!

Blessings to you Sweet Stephanie!

Hello, I will be so happy to have the cooler weather around here also. But, I do not like candles (okay did I really say that) YES!
I almost burned down my kitchen many years ago. So if it's not a plug in or a real pie cooking no go around here. But I do have a few of those FAKE candles, and my Hubby cracks me up, when it's time to go to sleep He will blow on it as he is really switching the switch. Guess ya have to be there!
Blessings Always, Roxy

Stephanie I love these, I want to make a cozy for coffee mugs with crochet. I have wanted to do that for a long time. These are lovely. The candle is almost like the one I did awhile back, but I used thread made out of the burlap, or a fabric quite like it. Lovely enjoyed your lovelies. Hugs

What great fall decor! This is a great centerpiece. Fall is one of my favorite seasons, mainly because of the temps and the colors! It has such a relaxing feel to it. Now I need to reflect the season in my home as well. Thanks for sharing.

And I've heard so many wonderful things about the pumpkin spice latte. The next time I cross a Starbucks, I'll have to give it a try.
