Afternoon Tea
My copper kettle whistles merrily
and signals that it is time for tea.

The fine china cups
are filled with the brew.

There's lemon and sugar
and sweet cream, too.

But, best of all there's friendship,
between you and me.

As we lovingly share our afternoon tea.
~ Marianna Arolin ~

Thank you for joining me for a sweet cup of tea.
Have a beautiful day, precious friends,
and don't forget about the Tea Cup and Mug Exchange.
Deadline for signing up is 5:00 this evening, September 30th.

Hi Stephanie,
What a sweet tea setting. I love that foxy tea set! I've never seen anything like it before. We have foxes everywhere around here now. The last few years, we see them on sidewalks and in parking lots. We have one that goes through our back yard at least once a day. I think the coyotes have chased them out into the open. The foxes are getting very used to people and I don't know if it's a good thing or not. My son doesn't think so. {He is studying Wildlife Conservation Tech.} Folks are feeding them outside grocery stores too where they waith to be fed. I guess we'll see what becomes of them in the future.
Thank you for coming to tea and have a beautiful day, my friend. BTW, I still go to physio twice a week for my back but it's coming along. I'm hoping by Christmas I will be able to get back into a normal routine.

That tea set is so whimsical and charming. Foxes are one of my favorite animals, as long as we don't own a hen house:)

Beautiful tea setting, Stephanie!
