God Made The Rose

How did God make a beautiful rose?
To put it simply, nobody knows.
He gave it a fragrance of Heavenly dew
And added some Heavenly beauty too.

I love to hold a fresh cut rose,
As into my senses its fragrance flows.
Each petal reminds me of beauty and love.
Its beauty comes to us from God above.

Give a rose to the one you love so dear,
That one you hold in your heart so near.
A rose can say, "Darling, I love you."
Yes, a rose can say, "My love is true."

May roses grow in your garden of life
And take away your troubles and strife.
Roses remind me of the love of God.
Receive His love as you travel this sod.
~ Margaret Cagle ~

Have a blessed Lord's Day, lovely blogging friends!

What a lovely post Stephanie! Dare I tell you that I once poured salt water from a fish tank on a rose bush on a rental property and killed it? (I thought it was a weed.) I've since learned that roses don't look so beautiful in the late fall and winter...but oh when the spring comes..so beautiful!

Absolutely beautiful!! I enjoyed the sweetness and loveliness of your lovely photos, capturing our Lord's creation so beautifully.

Roses and all flowers make me smile so much because they make me think of what a loving and tender heart God has to make something so delicate and lovely as them.

And I don't believe I have heard this poem before- such a blessing to read.

I hope you have a wonderful Monday, Stephanie!

Hugs to you!!
