Kitty's Recipes & The Giveaway Winner

This week I am going to share with you some recipes that I have made
from blogs that I follow.
Each lady is a sweet friend of mine
so I am looking forward to introducing them to you.

Also, the giveaway winner is at the end of the post :)
I wonder who it could be.......

To begin with I am going to introduce you to lovely Kitty
who blogs over at
I have known Kitty for about a year and since I first began following her
she has become a very special friend to me.
She has been through many hard trials and difficult moments,
yet she continues to be a beautiful light and testimony of joy to those around her.
She has richly blessed my life.

Kitty has a delightful blog that is filled with many delicious recipes!
She always makes my mouth water with her latest recipe
so why don't you stop by and pay her a visit - you won't regret it :)

Now onto the dish that I made...
Kitty shared an Amish cheeseburger soup that is perfect for the colder months.
It is very tasty and quite satisfying.
I followed her recipe exactly the way she wrote it
and left out the sour cream like she did.
My family loved it and it makes great leftovers.

Head on over to her blog to get the full recipe.

A while ago I also made Kitty's White Texas Sheet Cake and boy, was it tasty!
I didn't take a picture of it, but here is the link for the recipe.
Trust me, it's delicious!!

And finally, the winner of the Autumn giveaway is.....
Claire Davis

You can check out lovely Claire's blog by clicking on the link below.

I make a soup very similar to this one. Except, I use chicken. I use California blend veggies, plus French style green beans. My recipe doesn't call for the sour cream but it does the velvetta. I made it yesterday. I cooked it for about three hours.....you really can't even see the veggies after all that time. It is so good. I will try it with hamburger to see how that is.
