Since we started the week out with sweet cupcake ornaments
I thought we could finish the week off with a "tasty" ice cream cone ornament :)
Okay, maybe not so tasty, but definitely cute.
Items needed:
styrofoam ball
glitter
glue
paper
lace
"cherry"
ribbon
hot glue gun and glue
I applied glue all over the ball and then sprinkled glitter onto it - what a mess!
If you can find a large pre-made glitter ball than I would go with that option :)
Make a cone shape out of card stock and apply glue to the edges to hold together.
If you want, stamp out "Merry Christmas" onto some card stock and add to the cone.
You can also use a sticker.
Place the ribbon on top of the ball and apply a dot of hot glue to hold in place.
Then place the "cherry" (I used a small styrofoam ball covered in sequins)
on top of the ribbon - make sense?
And finally ... hot glue the ball into the paper cone
and add lace around the ball.
I hope you enjoyed the week of handmade ornaments
and I truly hope you're able to make some :)

How festive and cheery! These are such lovely ornaments, and it looks like such fun to make them. The lace is such a beautiful touch as well.
Your posts sharing your creations and how to make them have been such a joy to visit this week. One of my favorites were your sweet glitter snowmen on spools- so creative and cute, I love them! And all have such a vintage loveliness in the fabrics, lace, or details you used.
I hope you have a beautiful weekend, my friend!!
Hugs to you,
Jazzmin

I loved this idea! The kiddos would have so much fun doing this. I was just thinking you have made these look vintage and something we may have had on our tree when I was a little girl!
Prayed for you this morning that the move is going well, as this Arctic air is so tough on everything!
My pipes on my washing machine froze this morning! (Water everywhere)
