I'm back!! Well, Sort Of. . .

Hello my lovely friends!
How I have missed each and every one of you!

How are you doing?
What have you been up to?
Are you enjoying the month of June?

I had such big plans for my two weeks away from blogging
like visiting your blogs, catching up on letter writing,
working on 4th of July projects, reading, reading, and reading.
Well, those plans went out the window!
I think the only thing I got done is. . .never mind, I didn't get one thing on my list done :)
I can't believe how quickly the two weeks went by -
the month of June hit and so did all of the Summer activities.
I am not sure when things will slow down,
but for right now I will just hang tight and go along for the ride.
My blogging may be sporadic, but I will do my best to get posts up and visits made.

But enough about me, lets talk about those wonderful guest bloggers :)
I hope you enjoyed them because each lady is dear and special to me.
I am so grateful for their willingness to share a part of their world on my blog. . .
because of them I knew I could leave my blog in capable hands.
Thank you, dear friends, for contributing to The Enchanting Rose
and thank you, sweet ladies, for visiting the guest bloggers - all of you are precious!

Also, many of you may have already seen that I am closing my Etsy shoppe
I find myself too caught up in creating items to sell
and I am missing sweet moments with my family.
I constantly "worry" about the items I sell to people wondering if they will hold up
or if the buyer will like it. . .I don't like worrying.
I also find I neglect my blog more often when I am making things to sell
and to be honest, I would much rather focus on my blog and share my ideas with you
rather than charge you for those ideas :)
I will be closing up soon and I am now offering 25% off your entire order
because I would love to see the remaining items go to a good home.
Just enter the coupon code:

Like I said, I have greatly missed all of you
and I can't wait to catch up on your blogs, lovelies.
I will, Lord-willing, be making my rounds soon.
Until then,
may each and every one of you have a beautiful week filled with joy and blessings.

My love and hugs to you!

Sorry to hear about your store closing, but completely understand. I just went over and bought that pillow I have been eyeing for some time. Thanks for giving us a discount.

Hello dear Stephanie! My solution for not feeling unproductive when nothing on my list gets done, is to list what I DID do...then cross it off! :) :) :)

Terra said...

Good to see you here again. Time does fly. I make lists and like to cross off items as I do them, but so much does not get done, like you said. Enjoy spending more time with family and blogging, once your shop is closed.

Good to see you back again, Stephanie! I love the photo of the yellow flowers and everything else gray. Such a great use of selective color. I hope the blog break did some good...looking forward to reading more of your posts and seeing your beautiful images.

Nice to see you back Stephanie...I am always amazed at how busy life seems to get... even the "season" I am in. There always seems to be something vying for my time. Your photos are beautiful, I especially like the ones that are gray with the yellow flowers.

Welcome back, sweet Stephanie! Your photos are awesome with those lovely yellow dandies glowing against the b & w...is that a Photoshop edit? I don't know that I can do that in the programs that I use...super cool!

Hi Stephanie!
First off-those pictures are beautiful!!! I love how the yellow flowers pop! I have been playing with my camera and have been trying to do that very same thing. Awesome!

You don't have to explain anything. I haven't been wanting to blog at all, so just relax. Enjoy your summer, they go by so quickly!

If I don't stop in as often as I do in the winter, just know that I am sweating in the heat and trying to stay cool. Ha!

We are getting ready to go camping and I have been running like crazy to get things done. So, you have a lovely summer and I will check in when I can.

Take care and lots of hugs,

Hi Stephanie, I'm sorry to hear about your shop and everything but at least you tried! I'm so glad you are enjoying your time off from blogging and yes it's so hard to get things done sometimes. I love your photos and thanks so much for the opportunity to guest blog I really enjoyed it. It was so nice to meet new blog friends too. Take care and enjoy the summer.

Oh, Stephanie, I cannot believe how quickly June is flying; it is already the 17th! I love the early morning, when daylight begins to peeks through my window around 5:00 and the sunrise greets me at about 5:30. Yes, I wish it were like this all year. I love early mornings and will be sad when the early light declines. Why must summer fly by so quickly!

I really enjoy your presence in the blog world and missed you when you were away. However, I am sorry that your shop had to close. Although, Perhaps you are not sad to let it go. Time with your little one is very precious. The years slip away so quickly. I admire you for your decision.

Have a lovely day,

My Dear Stephanie - your photos are so lovely today and hearing about how busy you are and your decision to close your shop brings back memories for me of the same thing. Sometimes you have to make hard decisions in life and go where you are needed the most. I know you are the heart of your family and children grow so quickly, don't they? Summer is such a magical time for children and to spend that time exploring with them is a precious thing. Wishing you a beautiful week, my Dear.
Hugs xo Karen

Hello, Thanks for allowing me to be a guest blogger! I must say that we need to not all be spending too much time with our blogs and enjoy being outside having fun! We have all winter sit by the fire and chat!
I am going on vacation and I will be trying not to worry about blogging too much myself!

Hi Stephanie and welcome back. Yes, blogging and creating can take up so much time and time away from family. Just follow your heart and spend your time on what is most important.

It is so wonderful to see you back, Stephanie! Your blog truly was in capable hands- the posts I did get a chance to visit by the lovely guest writers were a joy to read. But I have greatly missed you :)
I am sorry to hear you are closing your shop. All of your items are so creatively beautiful and so obviously made with love and heart, and I'm sure all those who your sweet creations found homes with have been blessed to get to admire and use them- and those who they will find homes with before you close. You are truly talented.
I hope you had a restful break from blogging. I trust you are enjoying a lovely start to the summer- well, here in a few days it will be summer, anyway :)

I pray you are well and having a wonderful week so far.

Hugs and love,

Hi Stephanie, I'm sorry you are closing your sweet Etsy shop but I do understand. I've enjoyed browsing there. I'm always thinking I'm going to get way more done than I ever do. But....you really did make your ideas and dreams come true!! and your things are lovely....I almost bought the purse with the black & white flower on it..but somebody beat me to it lol. ~~I'm glad you enjoyed the video of Alice Herz Sommers...I loved it too. =) My blogging is more miss than hit with hubby home and all the summer things going on. Have a blessed and sweet day dear friend!

Ceil said...

HI Stephanie! Who can't relate to that? I take blog breaks and watch the time blow by...it's crazy how fast time goes, isn't it?
I'm sure closing your Etsy shop is a bitter and sweet experience. I'm sorry it didn't work out the way you thought, and caused you to worry so much. I pray the time and peace you get back will bless you immensely.

Truly, sometimes we have to let legitimate things go to make way for others. I totally get that! The Lord will guide you and give you wisdom as you seek to find the balance in all these things. How faithful He is to us! I find taking breaks from blogging is a necessary thing in my life. Blog when it works for you...visit when it works for you...don't feel the pressure!! We all understand. Hugs, Camille

Glad to see you back, sweet friend, although I've only been 'half here' as well, lol.
I have lots of reading to do and catching up but my big question is? Did you get a chance to relax and feel rested? If so, then nothing else is important really :).
Sounds like you made some big decisions during your time off and I'm sure that you will feel better for them.
I am loving your photography, Stephanie - absolutely beautiful. That's what you should be doing for a living, you know! I've always said it!
Be well, my friend. Talk soon. xo

Welcome back Stephanie! I think many bloggers post more sporadically during the summer months in order to spend more quality family time and I admire that in you as well. I hope to take some time soon (even if I have been posting less already!) Happy to have you posting when you can : )

So good to have you back, sorry you didn't get much accomplished while you were away but if you spent quality time with your family and God that is a great accomplishment :) Your pictures are just gorgeous, love how the yellow pops off the black and white, so pretty!
