Living From Glory To Glory - Guest Blogger

It is a joy and pleasure to introduce Roxy - she blogs over at
Roxy has become a special friend of mine as well as a sweet encourager.
We met through blogging and eventually came to find out
that we live about 4 hours away from each other - how neat is that?!
I hope you are blessed by Roxy's post.

Why are we told to exercise our spiritual gifts?

We have natural muscles and we have spiritual muscles as well!
And we will need both of them to run our race!
We are asked to run as to win the prize.
So we must know how important it is to being in shape,
As we are not told in advance what these situations may look like.
These situations come in many different scenarios.

As women we need to be quick and yet flexible!
Sounds like we are competing in the Olympics.
Well, in a way we are!

I have been learning that our spiritual gifts are always in place, but can we
Quickly shift as the spirit leads!
Sometimes we can miss an opportunity to really be used by the Lord;
Because we tend to think of our reasoning and not allowing
The Holy Spirit to control!

Are you always inquiring of the Lord daily?
I try to remember to ask Him to show what He is doing…
I want to be quick to respond when I see something!

It usually will be an encouraging word!
Sometimes it may even be a directional word!
If you saw someone ready to jump off a bridge would you;

A.      Stay quiet and mind your own business?
B.       Say what you know is the truth to this person?
C.      Take a risk and trust God!

Ladies, take a risk and know we that we can trust the Lord with the very things
 We are not comfortable with!

Stretch and bend and hike and jog till be get there!

See you all at the finishing line…

Blessings, Roxy

Hi Roxy!
Just a wonderful post, and much to ponder on.
It is do true, in that we can trust the Lord with things we are not comfortable with when we take that risk.
Yes,I will see you at the finish line, and may we not grow weary in well doing as we press toward the mark. :-)
The Lord bless you!
Joy! Debbie
