Live In Sunshine

This world is not a place for gloom,
While sunshine lights the morning sky,
While blossoms store their sweet perfume,
For everyone who passes by.

This world is not a place for wrong,
While God's dear hand is over all;
Go meet your sorrow with a song,
And nothing evil shall befall.

This world is not a place for tears
While Jesus comforts those who weep;
Let hope and joy replace your fears-
His watchful care your ways will keep.

This world is not a place for sin,
For shame, or sorrow, or despair,
While Jesus' blood can make us clean,
While He will all our burdens bear.

Then let not grief your heart beguile,
Meet every trouble with a smile;
Are any sad, go make them glad,
And live in sunshine all the while.

Oh, dear Stephanie. It is 11 PM here on the east coast. Lying in bed with Josephine curled and sleeping snugged up against my side, husband sleeping soundly next to us.I read and reread the words of that hymn. I inhaled them and let them permeate my mind as I prepare to sleep.

Thank you for blessing us each Lord's Day with powerful hymns and scripture.

Looking forward to another week of visiting you in Blogland. Hugs, hugs, hugs from m & jb

Joy in the God of Salvation. There is such joy, its so unimaginable how amazing God's love is for us, that he becomes like us, suffers with us and dies for us. To fight for us. Its amazing, and there is such joy that he defeated death for us. Its a daily truth we should always be reminded of and so often is forgotten. Thank you for this post today :) I hope you are well and have a good rest of the weekend my friend :)
