Oh the weather outside is frightful,
but the fire is so delightful
and since we've got no place to go
let it snow. . .let it snow. . .let it snow.
The beautiful white stuff has arrived and I'm loving it,
but with the snow also comes cold temperatures.
So what does one do when it snows non-stop all day
and it's only 19 degrees outside. . .
Eat animal cookies, of course!
And drink hot coffee while reading a delightful book.
My family is nestled inside our cozy home next to the warm, crackling fire.
As the snowflakes drift down I look outside the window
and feel as if I am in a snow globe - oh, what beauty!
Whether you're getting snow, rain, or sunshine,
may you have a beautiful, cozy weekend, my friends!

The most perfect place to be and the most beautiful views!!! Wishing you a blessed weekend!!! Nicole xo
Lovely photos, Stephanie! The fence in the snow is just beautiful. I love my coffee without snow, but with makes it even better. ;) We're getting flurries so far. Have a lovely weekend!
Oh how beautiful Stephanie. Thank you for sharing. I can only dream of doing what you have been enjoying....the snow, the cozy fire. Oh how I would love it...:) Thise animal cookies are my favorite. I buy them just for me occasionally. They are so tasty. I found some Christmas ones at the Dollar General that taste just like them and they are mini shapes...stars, bells and so on. They taste exactly the same. Enjoy the peaceful view. Blessings, Vicky
Beautiful. As a Southern girl, I love snow but of course, we never had the extreme temps that you have. The coffee looks delicious. I just ate a few plain animal crackers myself! Enjoy the crackling fire!
You look delightfully cozy inside your beautiful snow globe, Stephanie! A good excuse to read a new book! Those are the cutest little cookies to go with your sweet coffee mug. Stay warm, my Friend. Hugs xo Karen
Didn't get that much snow here, just COLD!
Keep warm cozy this weekend.
warmly,
deb
Hello dear,
What a delightful post. The rain here just changed over to snow this evening. I hope it's not icy for the children at the bus stops tomorrow. Living so near the Chesapeake Bay often keeps us wet rather than snowy. But, I'll take whatever God gives! Blessings, m & jb (who went outside for exactly 90 seconds today before yowling to come back in! It's gonna be a long winter for Miss Puss-Puss!)
Stephanie, your photos are beautiful! Look at you guys getting lots of snow!
I made some chocolate chip cookies for your father, so he will be delighted when he gets home as he enjoys them by the fireside too.
Here, it has snowed all day, lightly, but consistent.
Brent will be staying the night with us. He has the night shift.
Enjoy the evening!
Love you, Mom
Animal cookies, coffee, and a warm fire look so delightful! I love your snow shots even though I'm not so fond of snow itself!
Dear Stephanie ... absolutely charming! An absolutely perfect evening! Enjoy! Warmest Hugs ♥ Teri
Stephanie stay warm and be safe even though the snow looks so pretty. Have a nice weekend.
Julie
I love your photos looking outside from inside your cozy home. Your coffee and animal crackers make for a great snack while reading by the fire. Stay warm and cozy, my friend! xo
Such a great post with stunning pictures. I love snow, always looks like diamonds dancing everywhere. Hugs
What a cozy scene you've described. Isn't it wonderful to have your family all tucked inside while the snow falls outside? Sharing a hot drink, some cookies and a fire sound perfect to me!
Stay safe and warm, Stephanie and enjoy your weekend.
We've got snow, too. My boys are so excited to go out and play in it. Have a happy weekend! :)
Wishing you a warm and cozy weekend. Snow in November,..yikes! not a fan of snow but I love the "look" of it, your photos are lovely
Stephanie, getting cozy with coffee, cookies, and fireside reading, while sprinkles of snow decorate the land outside, is, indeed, a winter wonderland worthy of many snow globes!
Have a lovely weekend, my friend!
Hugs,
Poppy
... Stephanie, the scene you have described is so beautiful...
I hope you and your family have a wonderful weekend, too..

The perfect setting, sharing some beautiful moments with loved ones. Have a wonderful weekend and stay safe in all that snow.
This is my kind of day!! Love the photos and absolutely love animal cookies ;)
Let it snow!
Beautiful pictures! I'm glad you are keeping so warm and cozy :)
What a delightful post. It hasn't snowed yet where we live and I'm not looking forward to it. Stay warm and have a great weekend... :)
Yep, that's what I should do today too. I'm looking over Advent books to use for our Advent readings this year, making soap, tending the fire, enjoying the sunshine flooding in through the windows. So thankful for the sunshine. Somehow the cold doesn't seem quite as cold. Have a wonderful, blessed, and cozy day!
Beautiful pictures and cosy too !!!
Have a nice weekend !
Anna
it does look beautiful, but the older I get the more I don't care for it, ok when you don't have to get out in it, LOL... we are suppose to get 2 1/2 inches this weekend, but we haven't had those low of temps yet, we have been in the 20's, too cold for me :)
Stephanie, I love visiting you here.
You share my love for home and family. And that isn't easy to find here in the "real" world!
Have a cozy, cozy weekend, my friend.
We have snow too. And I love it!
Dear Stephanie,
It sounds as if you are having a perfect day. Your mug is pretty and I love the animal cookies.
The book you are reading looks so good. I hope you will be doing a review soon.
Hugs to you,
Dianna
Your photos are so beautiful, Stephanie! I am ready to enjoy the indoors for awhile now too. I love the fireplace and warmth of the house in the winter months.
Your animal cookies look delicious!
Enjoy your weekend, sweet lady. xoxo
oh my Stephanie, those cookies look so yummy and I love your cup. Stay warm and cozy, snow is pretty but along with it is so much cold and isn't easy driving in. It was 26 degrees here this morning.
Hi Stephanie, the snowfall is beautiful and I imagine it is so cozy by the fire sipping coffee and enjoying those yummy looking animal crackers.
Stay warm and have a blessed weekend.
Hugs
Wow, I love your photos.
You know...you just make me smile...been snowing here, but not like you got. It was miserable walking to and from classes today...heavy snow squalls and wind...LOVEEEEEEEEE Animal Crackers too. Blessings
No snow here yet. Looking forward to a few snowy days, hopefully around Christmas.
Lovely photos! I'm going to have to look up that book, Buttermilk Sky. What an intruguing title.
You just described my favorite pastime, a cup of tea, a book, and a cozy fire, with family. I've heard it's cold there in Colorado!
Love your pretty mug. and those frosted animal cookies are delish!
Beautiful! Looks like you got just enough to make it a winter wonderland. We got a light dusting....just a tease. I say bring it on! I want to decorate for winter....
We have more snow coming this weekend. I soo wish I would have picked up some animals cookies to have with my hot cocoa! Thanks for the great idea... Stay warm :)
Wow, you got a lot of snow already! We've only had a couple of dustings so far and it has not dropped to 19 yet! Stay warm and cozy. :)
Lovely!!! You live in a gorgeous area. Looks like Christmas time is coming early :)
19 degrees? Yikes! You home sounds so warm and cozy on a cold winter day. We have snow as well, most of it is gone now. I have no doubt it will return soon. Thanks Stephanie for all that you beautifully share here. Love your view. ~ Abby
That sounds absolutely delightful!! I love watching it snow outside...
Hugs,
Jan
Beautiful snow pictures! We have been in the teens at nights with days in the low 30's but no snow. Today it is starting to warm up and rain is coming soon. Enjoy your gorgeous weather! (Now you have me wanting a frosted animal cookie...)
