Coffee And Pie. . .Just For You

Good morning and happy day to you, friends!
Won't you join me for a cup of coffee and piece of cherry pie?

A cup of coffee shared with a friend
is happiness tasted and time well spent.
- Unknown -

Before I dish up a piece of this tasty sweet pie
I would like to take a moment to mention
First of all, there has already been a wonderful response
and the cards are beginning to arrive, thank you so much, sweet friends!
In case you missed the post about "Letters for Gracie"
please click here to read more about it.
I am gathering cards during the month of February for my young cousin,
Gracie, and will be sending them to her sometime in March.
You see, she has been diagnosed with Cerebellar Ataxia
so I am asking you to send a simple card to this young girl. . .
a card will bring a ray of sunshine to her life.
Please click on the link for more information. . .let's share the love!

Now how about that cup of coffee and piece of cherry pie. . .

A simple cup of coffee becomes happiness
when you share it with a friend.
- Unknown -

This pie recipe is from my dear friend Kitty.
I absolutely love this sweet lady and her blog Kitty's Kozy Kitchen.
I have made several of her recipes and they are always delicious
including this cherry pie.
When my husband took his first bite he said,
"Now that is how a cherry pie is supposed to taste!"
Thanks, Kitty! :)

The crumble topping is extra buttery and oh so sweet!

More coffee, my friends?
Maybe you would like cream and sugar. . . :)

Well hello there!
How do you like your coffee?
I prefer mine with you!
- Matthew R. Griggs -

The sweet little cup coaster is one I made and
I look forward to sharing the tutorial on my blog in the near future-
they are "sew" easy and make darling gifts :)

Coffee and friends
make a perfect brew!

Thanks for joining me!
Wouldn't it be grand to actually have coffee and pie in person!
To spend time with you, dear friends, would be such a joy.

Coffee tastes better with a friend!

Have a beautiful day
and may your weekend be extra wonderful!
Hugs to you!

Coffee and pie sound perfect, the only thing missing is a small scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. :-) Your coffee cup coaster is cute, I'll look forward to your tutorial. I love, love the crochet table cloth. Did you make it? Or someone in your family? I have one I treasure that was given to my grandparents as a wedding gift years and years ago. Lovely post Stephanie! I made a cherry pie for Adam on Valentine's Day. It is his favorite. : ) The tea cup coaster is adorable, I will look forward to the tutorial. I have a set of the Finlandia dishes, like your plate. It is a special set to me, I purchased most of the set at an estate sale, and then some additional pieces at the Salvation Army store.

I love anything CHERRY! I will have to hop on over to Ms. Kitty's blog and get her recipe.

I think it would be so fun to have a cup of coffee with you. After all we do live in the same state... I'll get planning!

I hope you are all warm and cozy. Are you suppose to get a lot of snow with this storm? They are calling for up to 10 inches down here. That's a lot for this part of the state.. We got wood stacked and brought in and the fire is roaring.

Have a lovely weekend, Stephanie!

You have a nice weekend, too. I'm on my way to follow your link to 'letters for Grace.'
