Tea Cup and Mug Exchange #6

The time has arrived for another Tea Cup and Mug Exchange-
do I hear some hip-hip-hoorays!
You, my dear friends, make it possible for me to host these lovely exchanges
and for that you have my sincerest gratitude and appreciation.
The last Tea Cup and Mug Exchange had almost 60 ladies participate - what a joy!

If you are new to the Tea Cup and Mug Exchange than let me warmly welcome you.
If you have participated in a previous exchange than let me warmly welcome you back.

There are a few changes and a few new rules
so please read this entire post for the complete details.

It's quite easy to participate and I know you will thoroughly enjoy yourselves.
The exchange is open to everyone from around the world.
The more the merrier. . .
and who doesn't love making friends from another country?
Also, you DO NOT need to have a blog, this is for anyone.

Let me explain what needs to be done for joining this exchange. . .

Email me at
to let me know you would like to participate.
If you want to do both the tea cup and mug exchange than that is just fine.
Please let me know if you want to send out both.
Also please include your mailing address in the email
as well as your blog address {if you have a blog}.

In your email PLEASE let me know if you are okay with shipping overseas.
If you do not want to ship overseas than that is no problem, just let me know either way.
Also, please tell me if you would like to send to someone with a blog.
This was brought to my attention during the last exchange that some blogging ladies
preferred to send a tea cup/mug to a lady that also has a blog.

In your email please tell me what your
favorite colors are,
flavor of tea or coffee,
favorite flower,
and if you like a certain style - vintage, shabby, country, etc.
This will give the sender ideas for you.
Or you if like surprises than simply tell me in your email
that you want to be surprised :)

Purchase a tea cup or mug or you can send one from your own collection;
it's completely up to you :)
If you send one from your own collection
please make sure it's in good condition with no stains or chips.
Tea cups or mugs from antique or thrifts stores are also fine,
but again, please make sure they are in good condition.

Please add at least one extra item to your tea cup or mug package.
It can be tea, coffee, handmade treasures, doilies, etc.

You will send a tea cup to a special someone and receive a tea cup from a special someone else
so you will be making two friends in the process.

*** If you sign up for the exchange and then later find out you're not able to join
PLEASE let me know ASAP! ***

Sign up for the tea cup exchange will start today, February 2nd
and will go until February 13th so we have 11 days to sign up and spread the word.
I will email each one of you on Saturday, February 14th
with the information you need to send your special someone her tea cup or mug.
We then have until February 23rd {9 days} to get the package together and shipped out.
I would advise those of you who choose to ship overseas to send your packages out
immediately after receiving the information of the person you are sending to
since shipping takes longer.

And finally...I will have a linky on my blog around the middle of March
so that we can share our treasures with everyone.
If you do not have a blog you can send me pictures of your new tea cup or mug
and I will put them on my blog for all to see.

Does everything make sense, lovelies?
You can email with any questions that you might have:

For those of you that sign up I will be in touch periodically via email
with updates and reminders :)

One more thing, I will also be giving your email address to the lady that is sending to you
so that if there are any issues with shipping you and the sender can work things out.
If you do not wish for me to give your email address out than please let me know.

The Tea Cup and Mug Exchanges in the past have been a tremendous blessing
and I know this one will be as well so please join us for some sweet fun.

It is such a lovely idea, but I do worry about breakages if I sent from abroad.

Oh, so very lovely Stephanie! I will watch from afar, but I'd sure love a pretty tea cup one day. I have plain white cups that I love, but a pretty aqua one would be fun for photos!

Have fun my friend! Anita

Stephanie, I was SO hoping to be a part of this exchange this time but after being away for over a week, I just don't think I will be able to get a package together in time. I will enjoy it by reading through the blogs again though! What a sweetie you are to host this. I hope you have had a good week...I have missed all of my bloggy friends!!
