Even the simplest of things
can be beautiful. . .
a smile,
a gentle touch,
sweet laughter,
a forgotten memory,
strolling through a field of flowers.
The simple things
are also the most extraordinary things.
Simplicity is the key note
of all true elegance.

My dear friends, sometimes the simplest of things can be the sweetest. . .
these things can be the loveliest to add to a room in the home.
Simple. Refreshing. Beautiful.
These delightful flowers were made from wire and nail polish - that's all.
Pearls were added to the center for an elegant touch.
There is pure and simple beauty
to the ordinary rhythms of our everyday lives.
Look for the simple beauty in your daily living,
it's there. . .
it's always there.
When your life feels black and white
make sure that you dream in color.
Have a simply beautiful day, sweet friends!

I have never come across anything like this before, stunning.
Wow, Stephanie! Your nail polish and wire flowers look amazing! You've mastered something I've tried over and over to do, but couldn't quite get the polish to adhere and stay on the wire completely. I got frustrated and gave up. It's not an easy task to achieve - at least for me and kudos to you for a beautiful outcome!
Your flowers are very sweet and I appreciate your reminder to look for beauty in the simple things.. Such wise words.. have a lovely day!
Love and hugs,
Tamara
Oh Stephanie, that is absolutely beautiful!
Well done, sweet lady!
the flowers are beautiful but what i enjoyed most about this entry was the sentiment, so true and so inspiring!!!!! reminding everyone of the important things in life!!!!!
This was like The Wizard of Oz, starting out in black and white and then changing to glorious color! What a fun way to show your beautiful flowers. You're so right about the simple things, but I have to say, these don't look simple to make! At least not for me. You did a beautiful job. xo Deborah
Hi sweet friend,
What an adorable project you shared with us! Aren't those flowers so cheerful, and they were magically transformed from black and white to beautiful colors.
I hope you're doing well. Love and hugs sent your way.....
These wire flowers are delightful, Stephanie. And the pearl in the middle adds a special touch, indeed. Your black and white photos are so pretty, but the last one in color made me smile. Color in our lives is such a beautiful thing.
I hope you're doing better with the passing of your Grandpa. I have been thinking of you, my friend.
love, ~Sheri
Simple...pure beauty...joy in everything should we desire to seek it. :-)
These would make for adding a smile to any face, Stephanie. I'm amazed at what the nail polish does, very interesting in deed. Your pearl makes the flower complete.
You're clever ~ black photos to beautiful color, nicely done.
I pray you are having a most beautiful day!
Love you ~ Mom
Very pretty, Stephanie. I imagine that you will take refuge in some of your favorite crafts and we will be the happy beneficiaries. Be extra kind and gentle with yourself in these gray/blue days.

How delightful! I was wondering what they'd look like in living colour and then I saw your final image. Hee!
That is how I have always felt. The small, simple things of life are the most important.

Just stunning my friend! Looking at all of those black and whites and then seeing that color shot...wow! Knocked me over! I have been thinking about you...I hope your grandfather is doing better....have a good weekend! Nicole xo
Those are so cute! When I was teenager I had a craft kit that was similar. Wire to make petals and a plastic type solution that you dipped it in. I made lots of flower arrangements with that. I'll have to try this new version. :)
You are fantastic !
A big hug,
Franca
Isn't that sweet and simple as can BE!!!!!!!

Wow! I have never heard of doing such a fun craft with nail polish! What a unique way to highlight such a beautiful project by starting off with black and white photos, and adding the touch of color at the end - brilliant!
