Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord,
and whose hope the Lord is.
- Jeremiah 17:7 -
Almighty Father of mankind,
On thee my hopes remain,
And when the day of trouble comes,
I shall not trust in vain.
Thou art our kind Preserver, from
The cradle to the tomb;
And I was cast upon thy care,
Even from my mother's womb.
In early years thou wast my guide,
And of my youth the friend:
And as my days began with thee,
With thee my days shall end.
I know the power in whom I trust,
The arm on which I lean;
He will my Savior ever be,
Who has my Savior been.
In former times, when trouble came,
Thou didst not stand afar;
Nor didst thou prove an absent friend
Amid the din of war.
My God, who causedst me to hope,
When life began to beat,
And when a stranger in the world,
Didst guide my wandering feet;
Thou wilt not cast me off, when age
And evil days descend;
Thou wilt not leave me in despair,
To mourn my latter end.
Therefore in life I'll trust to thee,
In death I will adore;
And after death will sing thy praise,
When time shall be no more.
- John Logan -
I am trusting Thee to guide me-
Thou alone shalt lead,
Every day and hour supplying
All my need.
I am trusting Thee, Lord Jesus-
Never let me fall;
I am trusting Thee forever,
And for all.

Yes, absolutely Yes.... Jesus is our one true Hope in all things!!!
Blessings to you on this Sunday, Net
Oh, dear friend! How I needed to read this today! In light of my family's and my circumstances, I have been seeking God's face SO desperately. I felt impressed to open email, and the first words I saw after opening your post was "Trust In Providence"!! YES, dear Lord, I will trust! He is the One Who has led us safe thus far, and He surely will not fail us now. Thank you ever so much for so faithfully sharing what God lays upon your heart! He knows who will read it, and He absolutely knows what they need. You are a dear blessing!
Amen, dear sister.
God bless you and yours today and always.
Hi Stephanie,
I just went into my latest post on my blog to edit the sentence at the bottom of it. Then I decided to read the blogs I follow. Yours was the first on the list, and if the first poem on your post does not go together with the last poem on mine, well....
God has a wonderful way of bringing His children to build one another up.
God bless you Stephanie.
Blessings to you this beautiful Sunday, Stephanie! You are blessed for faithfully posting these uplifting hymns and poems for us every Sunday!
Simply lovely, Stephanie.

Blessings to you and yours! I need to reread these inspirational verses when the stresses of the regular week (Monday-Friday) are present. Thank you for sharing on this beautiful Sunday!
This is beautiful. Was this an old hymn or just a poem? There is so much depth to this. You can be sure the writer had seen and experienced much -- it's felt in the words. Thank you for sharing!
It is truly wonderful to know the Lord and rest in the knowledge of His grace and mercy, forgiveness and the promise of an everlasting life!
I hope you're doing well and fine, dear Syephanie,
Lots of love from

And to you! I'm off to celebrate my Father-in law's 86th birthday! And he doesn't seem older than a healthy 65 year old. Something to celebrate indeed!

Perfect! Thank you!!
Oh, dear Stephanie, what a beautiful post! I read it on Sunday but am only now getting to comment! It's sometimes better when I re-read a post, and it was indeed the case for this one. I praise God that He is over all and that by His providence our Father works all things no only for his glory, but also for our good. What a precious promise and reminder, especially as we see the world and the culture change. Hugs, dear friend!
To begin my morning here with your words is such a blessing !
