Hi, my lovely friends!
Today is Tuesday and as you know every Tuesday I host
Roses of Inspiration.
Well, today is going to be a little different. . .
forgive me for not giving you any warning last week.
I originally planned on hosting the party today,
but you see, I have decided to take a little break from my blog
during this Christmas season.
Christmas is next week, sweet friends,
and I want to enjoy the most of this beautiful time with my family.
Baking, wrapping gifts, singing carols around the piano,
sledding and playing in the snow, enjoying Christmas tea parties,
and reading by the fire while sipping hot cocoa.
There is something special and delightful about Christmas
and it only comes once a year.
Now won't you join me for a festive and sparkly tea party?
This tea is for YOU, dear friends,
May you know how much I appreciate each and every one of you,
Friendship is a precious gift
to give at Christmas time.
A cherished gift,
a treasured gift
that lasts through all time.
From home to home
and heart to heart,
from one place to another
the warmth and joy of Christmas
brings us closer to each other.
So much I would wish you for Christmas
yet only my greeting I send
For all that I have to offer
is the sincere heart of a friend.
Some Christmas gifts are big,
some are small,
but the gift of your friendship is one
I hold close to my heart
every day of the year.
God made Christmas happen;
friends make Christmas beautiful,
music makes Christmas festive;
giving makes Christmas joyous,
love makes Christmas complete.
- William Arthur Ward -
Christmas blessings. . .
the joy of family,
the treasure of friends,
the miracle of God's love.
When pausing to think about all the ways
I've been blessed this year,
it's people like you who keep coming to mind.
Sweet friends, please know that you are thought of during this Christmas season
and please know that I am truly thankful for all of you.
Thank you for making my life more rich and beautiful!
I sincerely hope you and your loved ones have a most blessed Christmas.
Find time to relax and simply enjoy this wonderful time, dear ones.
And during this holiday may we keep our focus upon the true meaning. . .
And thou shalt have joy and gladness;
and many shall rejoice at his birth.
- Luke 1:14 -
Our precious Lord came to earth to be born of a virgin
so that we, His creation, could have life with Him for all eternity.
He came to earth because He LOVES us
and desires for each one of us to know Him personally.
Simple faith, my friends. . .
Faith in the one true Savior.
That is thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved.
- Romans 10:9 -
May home be warm,
your holidays grand,
and may your heart be held gently
in the Lord's hands.
Merry Christmas!
I will be back to posting on my blog
when the new year begins.
See you then, sweet friends!
Much love and tender hugs to you!
