Christmas Friendship Tea

Hi, my lovely friends!
Today is Tuesday and as you know every Tuesday I host
Roses of Inspiration.
Well, today is going to be a little different. . .
forgive me for not giving you any warning last week.
I originally planned on hosting the party today,
but you see, I have decided to take a little break from my blog
during this Christmas season.
Christmas is next week, sweet friends,
and I want to enjoy the most of this beautiful time with my family.
Baking, wrapping gifts, singing carols around the piano,
sledding and playing in the snow, enjoying Christmas tea parties,
and reading by the fire while sipping hot cocoa.
There is something special and delightful about Christmas
and it only comes once a year.

Now won't you join me for a festive and sparkly tea party?
This tea is for YOU, dear friends,
May you know how much I appreciate each and every one of you,

Friendship is a precious gift
to give at Christmas time.
A cherished gift,
a treasured gift
that lasts through all time.

From home to home
and heart to heart,
from one place to another
the warmth and joy of Christmas
brings us closer to each other.

So much I would wish you for Christmas
yet only my greeting I send
For all that I have to offer
is the sincere heart of a friend.

Some Christmas gifts are big,
some are small,
but the gift of your friendship is one
I hold close to my heart
every day of the year.

God made Christmas happen;
friends make Christmas beautiful,
music makes Christmas festive;
giving makes Christmas joyous,
love makes Christmas complete.
- William Arthur Ward -

Christmas blessings. . .
the joy of family,
the treasure of friends,
the miracle of God's love.

When pausing to think about all the ways
I've been blessed this year,
it's people like you who keep coming to mind.

Sweet friends, please know that you are thought of during this Christmas season
and please know that I am truly thankful for all of you.
Thank you for making my life more rich and beautiful!
I sincerely hope you and your loved ones have a most blessed Christmas.
Find time to relax and simply enjoy this wonderful time, dear ones.
And during this holiday may we keep our focus upon the true meaning. . .

And thou shalt have joy and gladness;
and many shall rejoice at his birth.
- Luke 1:14 -

Our precious Lord came to earth to be born of a virgin
so that we, His creation, could have life with Him for all eternity.
He came to earth because He LOVES us
and desires for each one of us to know Him personally.
Simple faith, my friends. . .
Faith in the one true Savior.

That is thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved.
- Romans 10:9 -

May home be warm,
your holidays grand,
and may your heart be held gently
in the Lord's hands.

Merry Christmas!

I will be back to posting on my blog
when the new year begins.
See you then, sweet friends!

Much love and tender hugs to you!

Dear Stephanie,

What a beautiful Christmas tea! Thank you.

I think that taking time off from blogging to be with your family is a wise thing to do. That little son of yours will grow up too fast; this is a special time for family.

I hope the cards I sent arrived. They certainly should have by now. I received a lovely Christmas card in the mail this weekend :)

May God bless you and your family with His precious love and peace this Christmas.

Sending much love and many Christmas hugs your way!!

PS-I just wanted to thank you for the kind comments you left on my blog. I had to recently switch to Wordpress, and I am no longer able to respond via email. But it was either give that up and hopefully no longer deal with harassing comments or continue getting harsh responses on a pretty regular basis. So I chose the first option. But I do appreciate you and your kindness very, very much!! I just didn't want you to think I was ignoring your comments :) They make my day brighter, for sure!! :)

That was so special, just like you!
Have a blessed Christmas Stephanie.

Oh you precious friend, I'm honored to join you at your friendship tea today, and what a lovely tea you've fixed for us on your pretty tea wagon. Your pretty tinsel tree looks so sparkly and I so love your pink and Aqua ornaments. You have such pretty teacups for serving your tea. The wonderful part is how God has connected you to all of us that know and love you.
You certainly need to spend some time with your sweet son and hubby and enjoy all those fun activities and create special memories. Oh, how I wish I could be there to sing carols while you play the piano. What a joy that would be! Thank you for reminding us the reason why we celebrate Christmas.
Love and Christmas blessings are sent to you and your family!

Your gracious tea party for your dear followers was the finest of tea parties, wrapped in warmth straight from your heart.

Breath taking photos with all the sparkle and glitter, just gorgeous!
Friendship certainly is a treasured gift, and you have some lovely friends here in our blogging community. All so very previous.
Thank you for this time to reflect on the goodness of God in so many beautiful ways.
I believe this is my favorite post of yours, loved it!

Enjoy all that your heart longs to do through out the next few weeks as you prepare for the birth of our Precious Savior. May you be filled with all joy that comes down from Heaven above.

Much love~~ Mom
