New Year Blessings To You

Hello, my sweet friends!
My, how the last three weeks have flown by. . .
actually I should say the last year!
Let me start by wishing each one of you a Happy New Year!
I hope your 2016 is off to a beautiful start
and I pray that this year brings you much joy and peace.

The holidays were such a sweet time here in the mountains
and it was a tremendous blessing to "unplug" from the Internet world
and simply enjoy time with my family.
From the time I took my break from blogging until now
my husband, son, and I have enjoyed playing games every night,
playing in the snow during the day, reading by the fire,
and talking over hot cocoa late in the evening.

I would LOVE to hear about your Christmas, dear friends.
It's such a beautiful and precious time to make memories with loved ones.

While I enjoyed my quiet time {something I desperately needed}
I also greatly missed you, dear friends of mine.
You have come to mean so much to me
and many of you have a very special place in my heart.
As I reminisce about the last 3 1/2 years of blogging
I am amazed by the love and kindness found in the blogging community
and each year the journey of blogging only gets better
because it is people like YOU that make it such a wonderful place.

As I spent time away from the computer
I thought quite a bit about my blog and the direction I would like it to go.
From the day I started The Enchanting Rose I have truly loved
sharing my passions for crafting, sewing, and baking
as well as my deep love for the Lord.
This has not changed and I honestly could not imagine
not writing on The Enchanting Rose.

So with that said I am happy and excited to invite you to follow along
as we embark on another chapter in 2016.
I am eager to see what the Lord has in store
for The Enchanting Rose, its readers, and myself.
I would be honored to have you reading along
as I share my heart about all things lovely, pure, and delightful.

As the rose petals begin to unfold
there will be true beauty to behold.

This is my desire for The Enchanting Rose.

What you can expect this year. . .

lovely crafts

delightful sewing projects

precious hymns

more tea posts

sweet and tasty recipes

Roses of Inspiration.

And speaking of the linky party,
Roses of Inspiration will resume January 12th
which is next Tuesday.
I hope to see you at the party, lovelies :)

Now, before I close I have a couple of things I want to mention.
One being that my lovely Aunt Kelly from Canada has started a blog.
I am so excited for her and I would be tickled pink if you stopped by and said "Hi!"
I know you will warmly welcome her into the blogging community {{smiles}}
Her blog is:

And finally, I wanted to let you know that the new year
has brought new items into my Etsy shop.

Mug Rugs

Tea Cup Coasters

And more!

Rose Petal Blessings

I look forward to catching up with each and every one of you.
May you have a blessed day, sweet friends!

Love and hugs!

Let your light so shine before men.

Happy New Year sweet lady :0) Our time away from the computer world is always so good for each one of us. It brings us back into focus :) For my blog, well it is one day at a time there. Since been struck with paralysis on and off, I can not make plans that require days to accomplish. Instead I'll just share my life as it happens :D
