Tea Cup and Mug Delights

Hello, lovely friends!

Just one more day until the big reveal
for the 8th Tea Cup and Mug Exchange.
Tomorrow I will share photos of the many items
exchanged by ladies who don't have blogs
and the ladies that have blogs will link up their posts
showing the delights that they received.
I hope you are able to come by tomorrow
to take a look at the love that was spread around the world.

I thought I would share my goodies a day before
since tomorrow's post will be quite full {{smiles}}
I participated in both the tea cup and mug exchange
so let's start with the mug. . .

I received the loveliest package from Erika.
Erika does not have a blog,
but it has been a joy to correspond with her via email.

Where to begin. . .
she sent along a beautiful set that included an apron,
pot holder, and a small pot holder for pulling hot dishes out of the microwave.

Erika also blessed me with several handwritten recipes
which will be put to good use in the kitchen :)

The mug she gave me was simply perfect!
I have had my eye on this mug for several months
and lo' and behold Erika got it for me!
Great minds think alike :)
As I write this post
I am enjoying a cup of black tea in it.

Delicious coffee and oh-so-good cookies
accompanied the mug.
The cookies have already been enjoyed. . .

And since the exchange took place around Easter
Erika sent along a wonderful Easter basket filled
with LOTS of treasures and treats.

Stickers, canning labels, and chocolate.
My son and I were thrilled with the yummy treats :)

Now let's move onto the tea cup that I received from the sweet Trina.
Once again I was richly blessed
and one of the highlights of her package was the kind and thoughtful
letter that she included.
While reading her handwritten words
I felt as though I was sitting down to have a cup of coffee with an old friend.

Trina sent me a glorious tea cup
that had vibrant pink roses all over it.

In addition to the tea cup
was this adorable bird creamer.

I mentioned to Trina that I love coffee
so she sent two kinds of delicious flavors.
The coffee in the middle is from Germany and it's fantastic!

Trina also surprised me with a package of beautiful charm squares,
fabric roses, pink rick rack, and three vintage cards.

And to top everything off she also included
a tea magazine, a book by the talented Grace Livingston Hill,
and some darling magnetic bookmarks.

Erika and Trina went above and beyond with what the gave me
and I am sincerely grateful for their kindness and generosity.
Their gifts showed they put a lot of love into what they blessed me with.
I can honestly say everything will be enjoyed to the fullest
and when I use the mug and tea cup I will think of these lovely ladies.

I sent a mug and tea cup to two lovely ladies
that do not have blogs so I thought I would show you what I sent their way.
First, is the mug that went to Allison.
Allison has been an absolute sweetheart and through emails
we have been forming a wonderful friendship :)

The tea cup went to Paula.
She said she liked pink
so I put together an oh-so-sweet pink package of tea goodness :)

It's always a joy to put together packages of love to send to someone
and sending to Allison and Paula was a pure delight.

Like I said at the beginning of this post, the big reveal will take place tomorrow.
There were 167 ladies that participated so there will be lots of beauty to look at.
Bring a cup of tea or coffee and some cookies
and enjoy a sweet visit to see what was sent around the world.

Love, hugs, and joy to you!

Beautiful things both given and received. Thank you for organizing this exchange, Stephanie.
Since my parcel went to Australia and I'm receiving from there as well, I have nothing to share tomorrow, since the parcels have not yet arrived. But I'll enjoy seeing what everyone else has!

What wonderful packages! If you host a teacup/mug exchange next year, I just might have to participate. I hesitated this year simply because I've been so busy. But it looks like such a delightful way to bless someone and make new friends! The teacup is so lovely and the coffee looks delicious.

I can't wait to see all the other exchanges! :D

Through your exchange Stephanie we are all learning the art of giving and blessing others with a parcel of joy. You received some wonderful gifts in each exchange and you sent the same to your recipients. Besides the giving/receiving each of us enjoys, it's gratifying to share in the excitement of the other participants with their involvement.
Thank you for organizing and keeping us on track throughout this pleasant exchange.

You also sent such wonderful items....I love that little tea jar. I saw then awhile back when we were out shopping and it caught my eye :)

I'm so excited for tomorrow's party! I'm just adding the finishing touches to my post now and can't wait to see all the lovelies everyone received and sent! My posts will probably be in two parts... one for my mug and later, one for my teacup (once I receive it). What fun to put together these posts to look back on such fun times!

Liebe Stephanie,
