6 Days Of Yo-Yo Fun.....Salt Shaker Yo-Yo Bouquet

Here we are, my friends,
the 6th and final day of the 6 days of yo-yo fun.
I hope you enjoyed the last week
of creative ideas for fabric yo-yo's.
I know I had a delightful time creating and sharing with you.

To make a tiny bouquet
all you need are some fabric yo-yo's
and a vintage salt or pepper shaker.
My little shaker is about 1-inch tall.
You will also need a wire stem
that can be cut into 3 different lengths.

And if you're not sure how to make a yo-yo
simply click HERE for instructions.

Once you have a few yo-yo's sewn up
cut out some felt to apply to the back of the yo-yo's.
You will see I cut out a heart shape. . .
it just gives it a nice finished look.
Tuck the stem under the felt and hot glue into place.

Then simply stick the stems into the holes of the shaker.

I have my little bouquet displayed on my tea cart
with my pastel Christmas tree.

And that's it, my friends,
an easy peasy project.

Thanks for popping in for a little visit
and a big thank you for visiting throughout the week.
I hope you enjoyed the 6 days of yo-yo fun.

Hugs to you!

I echo the other comments: these are so cute!

That would be a perfect use for odd salt or pepper shakers.

{{{big grin and giggling}}} You know, Stephanie, I don't think the guys would allow me to get away with anything so pretty, pink, pastel. I am so enjoying your posts, thank you friend for the many smiles.

Boo Hoo... I'm so sad this is your last day of 6 days of yo yo's!!! I've loved it! Now I have an excuse to buy some pretty little salt shakers! I may have to stop at our local gift store today! And I also need to make me some yo yo's. This is just a darling idea and I could see a cute Christmas shaker with some Christmas yo yo's in it, tied with a pretty red ribbon on each one. I wish you had more days of this... it's so fun! I've seen one other thing that would be cute for yo yo's.... and have it saved and have been meaning to make it.. if you want to know... email me!!! Maybe all of us can think of some other ideas for you to make more of your fun yo yo gifts. Hugs today.... Marilyn

Oh, I love this silver Christmas tree with pinks and blues and greens. The fabric yo-yo's are sweet. I made a little corner for Francesca with my blue cabinet, some frosty people, pink ornament, and will fill it with children's books when she's older. She's only a month old, but I think Jess will like it hehehe.

Another sweet little project! I have a salt shaker on my windowsill in my sewing room with some artificial bachelor's buttons - such a nice little 'lift' when I look up from my sewing.
