You have the potential
to make beautiful things. . .
yes, YOU.

Hello, my friends!
How are you on this lovely Wednesday?
Today I have a delightful little project just for you.
It's easy to make and the end result is simply beautiful.
Here is what you need to make this pretty magnet
that is perfect to give to a special friend or loved one
for Valentine's Day. . .
Mason jar lid
tulle
lace trim
magnets
card stock
embellishments
hot glue gun and glue
You will need to cut strips of tulle and lace
and tie them around the lid.
This is what your lid will look like
when you're done.
Cut a circle out of card stock
and hot glue it onto the back side of the magnet.
If you would rather,
you can use the metal middle of the lid
instead of card stock.
I applied a shabby rose to the back side
{just for looks}
and hot glued two magnets onto the rose.
For the front side of the magnet,
I glued on a shabby rose
along with a lace flower and felt hearts.
And that's it, my friends.
An oh-so-sweet-and-easy Valentine's Day craft.
Don't you just love the look of lace and tulle together?
Thank you for visiting!
May you have a wonderful day.

So pretty! Loving that you went with the red and white and not pink and white. Not a pink fan. Love it.
Beautiful. Thank you for the step by step instructions.
Too cute, Stephanie! And yes, I love the look of lace and tulle together! Makes for a lovely, chic Valentine Magnet! Happy Valentine's Day!

A very pretty make, a great tutorial.
SO pretty and so fun to look at! I love that this is a simple project with materials we probably all have around and yet it looks so elegant!! Great job!
So pretty! Girl, I have decided that you could take a gob of dirt and make it look good! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Hi Stephanie, oh what a pretty VD magnet craft you made. It would look so pretty on a refrigerator or a bulletin board. Thanks for the tutorial on how to make this. :o)
This is a cutie, Stephanie, and your tutorial is excellent as usual. :)
This is so pretty! I do love tulle and lace together. You are so ingenious. I've said it before and will say it again! So I assume this lid is not used on a jar, but to put on the fridge or anything magnetic? I was thinking at first it would be a workable lid for a jar.. how pretty wold that be too? You always inspire me to be more creative... hugs... Marilyn
Super cute my friend! I love how easy you make it look, and such a great idea making a magnet decoration :) Hugs

Hi! That is so pretty! Thank you for sharing your crafts! Nancy
Oh this is just too cute! I love the idea of using the lid from a canning jar instead of the cardstock. I always hate tossing the used lids.
Adorable and thank you for the tutorial
