Hello, friends!

And HAPPY DAY to you.
I'm so thankful to have you here
and while you're visiting,
can I offer you a sweet cinnamon stick?
I also have coffee or tea ready to be poured.

These cinnamon sticks are quite the treat
and if your sweet tooth is demanding something to satisfy it
well, these will do the trick.
Here is what you will need to make some:
1 puff pastry sheet-thawed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup butter, melted
Preheat oven to 450 F
and spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.
Unfold the puff pastry and cut it in half, lengthwise,
then cut into strips (less than 1 inch wide)
Gently transfer the strips onto baking sheet
and bake 8 to 10 minutes
or until golden brown.
While the cinnamon sticks are baking
melt the butter and set aside.
Combine cinnamon and sugar and set aside.
While they are still warm, roll baked sticks into melted butter
but make sure you don’t soak them, just coat all the sides
then roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
The original recipe called for a chocolate dipping sauce,
but since my husband is not a chocolate lover
I made a Confectioners' sugar icing dip instead.
I just mixed a little bit of vanilla with Confectioners' sugar and heavy cream
until I got the desired consistency for dipping.
These cinnamon sticks are incredibly sweet.
If you wanted to cut back on the sweetness
you could simply make the sticks
and skip the butter and sugar coating.
Just mix a little bit of cinnamon and sugar into the icing
and you will have a yummy, but not so sweet treat.
Mmmm. . .
enjoy, sweet friends!
Love and hugs to you.

Oh how yummy is that! Hey, I have similar bowls, mine are multi colored spring ones though, smiles.
Hope you have a lovely day friend.
Yes! Thank you. :@)
I would love to have a cinnamon stick and Tea with you, dear Stephanie. They look so good and simple to make.
Have a good day! It's going to be in the low 80's here today and I'm hoping to get out and enjoy it.
Mmmm looks so inviting Stephanie :) This is one I would like to try; the less sweet version! lol Thank you for sharing friend~ Hugs, karen o
Oh yes, please! May I have two like you have? Guess I better not...I had a part of a donut the other day and it sent my blood sugar soaring! They sure do look tasty though. :)
Hi Stephanie, These look delicious. I love treats like this one. They also make a sugar free sugar/cinnamon mix that would be good with this recipe. Your photos are simply beautiful. Have a great afternoon. xo
Dear Stephanie these sticks got my mouth watering. They sound divine. Just may need to pick up some of that puff pastry the next time I am at the grocery. Thanks for sharing. Hope you are having a lovely spring day. Hugs!
Stephanie, I love Cinnamon, and your Cinnamon sticks look Yummy. The frosting to dip them in really makes it. Oh, a chocolate dipping sauce sounds wonderful too. Your pictures make me want to come over and have a cup of coffee with you and one...or three of your homemade Cinnamon sticks. ; )
love, ~Sheri

You have displayed everything so beautifully ..how can one resist the invitation ... I’d love to sit and chat with a cup of tea please... Enjoy your day ...Hugs
I adore cinnamon anything!!!
And a visit with a lovely friend makes a treat even better.
I hope you are happy and enjoying your beautiful family, my friend.
Have a cozy day!
Oooh your cinnamon sticks look so delicate and yummy! I think sugar icing dip is perfect for it. I would prefer it to chocolate dipping sauce :-)
Have a wonderful day, Stephanie! xo
Oh how I love this recipe my friend! I am definitely saving this one - love that it's so easy and right up my alley. Thank you so very much for sharing and sending big hugs!
I just love the flavor of a simple dough with cinnamon and sugar. I have used a whole pie crust just to make these. I like the idea of using puff pastry though. Your dip sounds so good!
Ooohh, I love these sweet cinnamon sticks, a simple and delicious recipe, thank you dear Stephanie.
Sounds delightful!
Hi Stephanie oh wow those treats look so good and I bet are delicious. They would go perfect with tea or coffee. Thanks for the recipe.
Hope you have a nice week.
Julie xo
oooh, yes please and i just happen to have all the ingredients in the house!!! YuM!!!
Oh, a wonderful treat! I can almost smell the cinnamon! Hope you have a sweet and lovely week. Hugs xo Karen
Those look so delicious. Only a drizzle of dipping sauce would finish them off. Thanks for the recipe. Hugs
Dearest Stephanie, My! Does this sound heavenly, or what?!?! I LOVE cinnamon but am not sure I would love it with chocolate, so I love that you made a simple, powdered sugar dipping sauce. Puff pastry is a favorite around here, so I love anything that calls for that! I have made some delicious, and super simple, chocolate turnovers with puff pastry, and they were delicious.
By the way, your pretty, floral plate and little ramekin are so lovely!
I'll be saving this recipe to make sometime soon...thank you for sharing!
Love and hugs to you!

Yum! Those look like something my husband would like. Thanks for sharing!
You are tempting me, they look delicious. I need to be strong as I am trying to lose a little weight.
Oh I know how good these are! I made something very similar when Harper was little and I remember her crying for more, as she sat in her highchair. that little one knew a good thing, too! Thank you for posting this as a sweet memory for me. I'll have to make these for Harper soon. Love you!
Yes mam, I will gladly take a cup of coffee or a cup of hot tea and one of those tasty treats. YUM! I love anything cinnamon. Hoping you are having a great day. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Such a yummy treat with tea or coffee.. love it..
Oh my, these look yummy! I wish I could eat these but I know my hubby and kiddos will love these. I am going to have to give these a try. Thank you for sharing, Stephanie.

Stephanie, I agree with your husband about the chocolate! But I wouldn't need any dipping sauce at all. Just give me one of those pastries and a cup of tea!
I love adding cinnamon to recipes ...
Lovely photographs and recipe suggestion you've shared.
All the best Jan
