I can't thank each one of you enoughfor joining the exchange.
Many of you have become faithful participants
and your joy in joining the exchange brings a smile to my face.
I consider it an honor to host this event for all of you
and I'm incredibly thankful that you enjoy it so.
Thank you, friends,
for it is YOU who makes this exchange possible.

And on that note. . .
at this time I will not be hosting another exchange.
Each one continues to grow and with close to 250 participants
it's getting to be a "bit much."
And I must confess that with each exchange comes certain "issues"
that are out of my control, but tend to make participants unhappy
which in turn bothers me deeply.
So for now I am saying "adieu" to the exchange. . .
maybe for a little while or maybe forever.
We shall see. . .

Have a beautiful and blessed day,
lovely friends!

Each cup of tea
represents an imaginary voyage.

It's so heartwarming to see all the love, thoughtfulness, generosity, and kindness that people share through your teacup/mug exchange, dearest Stephanie. I don't know how you do it, but I am so grateful for your organizational skills, your love, and gentleness. We all appreciate YOU, and are so thankful for all that you do. Love and God bless you!

This is such a fabulous event, Sweet Stephanie! You did an awesome job in putting the exchange together and I can understand how you can become overwhelm with its' growth and other circumstances. I'm sorry for that. It really is fun seeing all the beautiful teacups and accessories!

Just doing a quick drop-by to add my link and take a quick peek at the tea pretties. Thank you, Stephanie, for organizing another successful teacup exchange!!! I'll enjoy viewing the goodies over the next few days.

Dearest Stephanie, as saddened as I am to hear this news, I totally understand about giving the exchange a rest. You have completely amazed us (me) by continuing to put this wonderful exchange together season after season! You surely have gone above and beyond what you needed to do in order to keep it up as long as you have...YOU DO NEED A BREAK...even if it's forever! In a group this large especially, I totally see where issues would come about, no matter how lovingly you set up the guidelines. I just want you to know that I feel so blessed to have been able to participate in six of your wonderful exchanges and my life has been enriched by many of the sweet friends I have made. To say "thank you" just doesn't quite cut it...but I do hope that you know how much how much you are appreciated. Go rest up, dear one...much love to you!♥

Thank you for being such an amazing host, Stephanie. While I am sad that I only had an opportunity to participate in only one of your exchanges, I completely understand how it can becoming overwhelming especially if not everyone follows the instructions. But thank you for a great experience. This was fun!

Good Day to you my Dear, You have gone above and beyond the call of duty! this has been a lovely experience for so many ladies! But as we all know things never go according to plan. Being in charge is always the most work and burden. I appreciate you and your desire to do this amazing exchange!
You have shared your love and wonderful crafts and beautiful pictures and trust me that is enough for any busy homemaker!
Thank you! Much appreciation...

Dear sweet Stephanie! What a beautiful array of tea lovelies to scroll through and enjoy!!! Truly I am saddened to hear that this was the last tea exchange, but I can only imagine the difficulty in trying to sort out all issues that arise when it has gotten so popular!! I am so thankful to have been able to participate in this exchange and for the sweet friendships I have made!! Thank you again sweet friend for all of the hours that we will never know about that you put into this exchange to make it so special for each one of us! Sending hugs and blessings your way today!

Dear Stephanie,

Thank you SO much for all of your hard work, and for all of the love you have put into this event! I can only imagine how difficult it is to organize. I understand how it could become too much, especially when you are a busy wife and mother. May the LORD bless you!

Thank-you so much Stephanie for all your hard work! It would take a LOT of time and effort.

I don't blame you for laying it down. To everything there is a season! And I wouldn't deal with issues and complaints and unhappiness. That soon steals the joy!

This was my second time to join in and I enjoyed it immensely!!! Thank-you so much!!

Gorgeous!! As I scrolled through the beauty I was astonished at the loveliness of each of these dear ladies in their hearts of giving, WOW!
From some gorgeous teacups and mugs to the most unique gifts, it all speaks so graciously of each loving heart.
I will spend days viewing and enjoying this party.
Stephanie, this exchange has become quite a thing and you have been remarkable!
You may never know this side of eternity how God has used you as His instrument through this amazing exchange. Friends have been made and God has been glorified time and time again.
It's quite understandable why you should desire to step away and give it a rest and you shouldn't feel guilty at all. The majority of ladies are precious, but in life there are those who make life difficult no matter what.
Your sweet and gentle spirit is why YOU have been the amazing hostess that you have been.
Thank you for all that you have done so selflessly!
My teacup (and a few mugs) collection has grown into quite a beautiful array of gorgeousness and that wouldn't have happened with out you!
I will forever look into my China cabinet and be reminded of you and all those dear ladies I have met, all through a teacup/mug exchange. :-)

Enjoy this day and party~

Love you~

Dear Friend,
WOW!! to put this event on, thru the world wide web, I find it to be just amazing!!! Well done in all the exchanges that you did.
The generosity is amazing to me.

... we may need to do a MLB exchange. LOL
We are heading to watch the Crew on Sunday play the Twins. It is only a 2 hour drive to see them at Target Field, Miller Park is almost an 8 hour drive. ;-)

Love, Carla

Dear Stephanie, for a long time I've been following this tempting exchange (because I love the cups myself), but did not dare to take part, because I live very far, in Russia. But even looking throught these wonderful photos, reading about the participants received joy - was very nice :). Thank you for your work - because the number of participants is really impressive.

I decided to make it a true reveal day and didn't open the boxes until today. I do have pictures of what I received (as well as what I sent) and am wondering if they can be included in your pictures. Folks can see them on my blog Amanda's Baskets at http://amandasbasket.blogspot.com/.

This was so much fun, especially looking at the boxes and anticipating the joy of opening them, I want to thank you for hosting this exchange.

Patti said...

Wow, such lovely gifts everyone received and gave! I have always wanted to be part of one of the exchanges, but they always seem to happen when I am on blog break, so I don't find out about them until after the deadline. Since I'm pretty sure I won't be taking any blog breaks in the coming year, I was thinking I would be able to participate in the next one. Alas, that isn't going to happen. That is disappointing, but I can certainly understand your reasons for not making plans for more. Hurt feelings and unhappy readers are definitely reasons for stopping.

Sweet Stephanie,

Oh, how you have blessed so many through this lovely event! I must say that I can only imagine some of the issues you have had to encounter with this, so I fully support you in your decision...sometimes stepping away brings about the most peace, and that's an important thing. Please know that I have only been blessed through each and every one of the five exchanges I've taken part in. You are a fine, lovely, gracious host and such a gem of a person and friend. Thank you for all the work, energy, time and love you have put into each one of these events...YOU are a blessing, my dear!

I have linked up my post, and this evening, I shall spend a good bit of time visiting all the other blogs...oh, how fun to see all the lovelies everyone received!

Thinking of you and wishing you a splendid weekend! Lots of love and hugs to you!

These swaps have been so much fun!! I do appreciate all of your hard work and I understand when humans are involved there can be "seeds of discontent". Please don't let that discourage you in any way, my friend. I hope you will take time off, but I do hope you will reconsider dropping the swap altogether. I do love getting happy mail and even more so, I love to send it. Thank you for blessing us all!

I so enjoy looking at all the pretty tea cups and goodies, Stephanie. I think my favorite was "Be still and know that I am God" with the blue tea cup. So many wonderful gifts from so many wonderful ladies. Thank you, dear one, for doing this tea cup exchange. It can't be easy, but your love shines for all each and every year.

OH Stephanie, I was sad to hear this but I do understand. If I lived closer I would have been there at your side resolving these issues and helping you in any way that I could. Your hard work was remarkable and your kind heart , often people are unhappy for whatever reasons and lash out at others. I wish everyone would be happy but life doesn't work that way does it? I would love to con tinue the exchanges but I have no technical background and barely learned how to post photos at my blog lol. But sometime I have giveaways and I love selcting a random recipient just to see their smiles. I know there are others who have hosted and decided to discontinue. It takes so much time and effort. But I will keep in touch. I admire you for your kindnesses and your beutiful uplifting posts. Take care HUGS, LOVE and BLESSINGS - Anne
