My favorite apple recipe remains my mom's apple pie.
When I was in college, she would often send one back with me when I was home for the weekend.
My roommates were soooo happy!
A terrific recipe for Autumn's bounty!

One of our daughter in loves text me yesterday and wanted an apple pie recipe. They are in California right now and went to an apple orchard to pick apples. This is such a wonderful and gorgeous time of year, and yummy treats like these sure put a smile on our faces :)

Perfect recipe for this time of year.
Yesterday I was craving an apple crumble pie (my favorite apple treat) and thought the aroma of it baking would go right along with the changing out of summer decor to fall loveliness, and it was heaven scent. :}
Right in the middle of changing my decor I felt the need to take Cherry Delight out and enjoy the colors up valley, they were stunning! The weather was absolutely perfect.
Now today...my plan is to get down and dirty!! Iv'e slacked off way too long, those "dust bunnies" are calling me. :}
Thank you for always sharing your your amazing recipes with us.

Oh my, that looks so yummy! I love apples but am too lazy to even peel. I like to cut it and put in mixer (with skin on) to make a smoothie. Easy and tastes good :-)
That does look good! My favourite pudding of all is apple crumble with custard!

Oh, sweet friend! Apple crisp is one of my sweet hubby's favorite desserts, but he doesn't like the crumble that has oats in it, so I was SUPER excited to see that this one doesn't call for oats!! Hooray! I can't wait to make it for him. Thank you so much for sharing this. Sending love and hugs your way!
I bet everyones' mouths are watering!! Mine sure is. This looks devine... sigh....... I need some right now. I'm only cooking with almond flour and/or coconut flour these days.. have to watch that girlish figure and all that! can't eat regular wheat flour but may try these with the almond flour. The apples and sugar and cinnamon are the show stoppers here anyway! Yummmmy is all I can say! Thank you for sharing this with us! xoxoxo Marilyn
