Burlap and Lace Pumpkins

I never met a pumpkin
I didn't  like.

Autumn is coming, my lovelies.
Don't you love that little "nip" in the air
that tells you fall is just around the corner?
Well, we are feeling that change
here in the mountains.
It gets me excited and ready for fall.
With the changing of each season
comes the changing of decor
and these sweet little pumpkins will add
the perfect shabby and fall look to your home.

You will see the pumpkins are made with burlap
that has lace on it.
Tucked inside for the "stem"
is a feather with gems.
And the finishing touch is a pink glittery rose.

On the teeny tiny wood caddy
{found at Hobby Lobby}
I added some burlap trim
and a velvet pink flower.

And inside the caddy
is some green Spanish moss.

I made some different pumpkins
with linen instead of burlap
and the stems are "puffs" of tulle
with pearls tucked inside.
I found these stems along with the feathers
at Hobby Lobby in the wedding section.

The pumpkins themselves are very easy to make
and you can visit an old post
where I will show you how to make them.
Simply click HERE.

If you don't have a wood caddy, my friends,
use your imagination.
For these little pumpkins
I put them in a vintage tart tin.

You can find these little cuties
in my SHOP
which is now located on my blog.

You can also find other fall goodies

What are you looking forward to
when autumn "officially" arrives?

It's always a pleasure to have you visit.
Hugs and blessings!

Your pumpkins are adorable, Stephanie! And when autumn "officially" arrives, God willing, I shall be in Maine visiting our son, daughter-in-law and two granddaughters. That will make it a very special autumn. :) xx

Such a sweet saying at the end of your post.
Your arrangement of those shabby pumpkins is quite adorable and I'm sure it adds grace and charm to your lovely home.

Reading your post I think I caught a whiff of pumpkin spice in the air. 🍊

I am slowly adding those Fall additions to our home, and even out side to greet those who grace our front door, though just waiting for the bear to sneak up and take my pumpkin. :}

It's a lovely day today, enjoy all the beauty that surrounds you ♡

What a beautiful creation! Your pumpkins are so elegant and dressed better than I do :-) They look adorable in the wood caddy. Tin is another great idea for them!
I love pumpkin season. Going to Starbucks to get pumpkin spice latte :-)

Hi Stephanie,
Your pumpkins are the sweeetest ever! : )So lovely.
I like both the burlap and linen. The caddy makes me think of gift-giving; (for a birthday?) like adding some sm gifts to it as well as the sweet pumpkins.
I am such a warm weather lover that, although I think Autumn is gorgeous, I am always resistant to the cooler weather and changes in the season.
I'll come around though, and enjoy what God has deemed necessary! (ha ha)
Thanks for sharing~ Hugs to you, <3 karen o

My favorite thing about Fall is the COLORS of the trees as their leaves change... love all the bright yellows and golds, rusts and reds. Unfortunately, the town where I live has hardly ANY colorful trees! I'm so sad... I have to drive up towards the mountains to get some glimmers of color... so I try to put some fall colors in my house. Your burlap pumpkins are darling. I have some flannel that I want to use for pumpkins for my mantel (which by the way, I've had for YEARS and have never made them yet!). One of these days.......... has been so hot and summer-like here until just today where we actually have some clouds and it's much cooler. Now maybe I can get into the Fall spirit! Hugs.. Marilyn

So cute! I've brought out my fall-themed teawares, but haven't displayed my traditional orange pumpkin yet. I haven't had a pumpkin spice frappucino yet, but did enjoy a pumpkin scone over the weekend.

Hi Stephanie!
Your pumpkins are so pretty... What a fun idea. And yes fall is starting to show itself here in the AZ mountains as well. I hope you've had a lovely summer. I read your post with the beautiful pictures from your hike. Sounds like a marvelous adventure. We went camping labor day weekend. It's so pretty in the woods after the rains.

Have wonderful rest of your week!
Blessings and hugs...

You have such talent and your creations are always so pretty.

I'm so old~fashioned and still love the old rust and oranges, and scarlets and golds of Fall.
I see so many fun colors for Fall these days though... turquoise, and blues pinks, and purples.
Nature is beginning to put on a show here. The leaves on the mountain tops are beginning to change.

I am looking forward to hot apple cider...yum!

Have a happy day.

such a sweet container for your burlap pumpkins, so neat! I love the changing of the leaves the most, well that and of course the cooler weather! I just finished decorating my house for Autumn and hubby said I have nowhere to put another decorations if I wanted, LOL!

I actually have a love/hate relationship with fall. I love the colours and the clear crisp air, but then I remember that it leads into the much-dreaded winter. Maybe this year we'll be lucky and winter won't be a bad one...I can but hope.
