Fashion Friday & An Autumn Sale

Style is a way to say
who you are
without having to speak.
- - Rachel Zoe - -

Hi there, my wonderful and beautiful friends!
I thought it would be fun to do something
a little different on my blog
by sharing on Friday's
{probably not every Friday}
an outfit I wore during the week.
With fall just around the corner
I have been pulling out my cardigans and booties.
I have to confess that I love loose fitting cardigans
You know, the kind that just wrap around you in a cozy way.
And I have a weakness for booties.
Yep, I do.
Okay, let's be honest. . .
I have a weakness for shoes in general.
There, I said it.

So let's dive in to this "fallish" outfit,
shall we?
I have been drawn to the mustard yellow color this year.
Before this autumn I didn't have anything mustard color
and now I can't seem to get enough of it.

Let's go from head to toes,
okey dokey.

- - Cardigan - -
Old Navy

- - Shirt - -
Old Navy

- - Girlfriend Jeans - -
White House Black Market

- - Booties - -

 - - Necklace - -
Gift from a friend

- - Earrings - -
Old Navy

I got the jeans on sale at White House Black Market.
The embroidery work is exquisite,
don't you think?
And the colors are simply perfect for fall.

Never underestimate the power
of a good outfit
on a bad day.

Aren't you just the pretty model? I love every piece of the outfit. It looks great on you. Your hair is very pretty too! Wow, Old Navy? So happy to have one near me. I too love long cardigans and that mustard is so pretty. Thanks for reminding me that I have embroidered jeans in my closet I have to pull out. Hopefully soon.....it is 88 here today!! And no, I do not live in the South!

You look darling Stephanie! Love that mustard color and I too LOVE cardigans! I used to have way more when I worked.. could wear them over my tank tops all winter long.... I especially like long ones that I can wear over a tank with my leggings or skinny jeans... and the best way to top it all off is with booties or boots! I have a weakness too for shoes and boots! Yours are darling and love the tan color. I'm going to check out your shop right now! xoxoxo Marilyn

I love the idea of a fashion Friday! You look beautiful!! I love booties, too, and wear them almost exclusively in the fall and winter. I recently bought a mustard colored top, a real out-of-the-box choice for me. I'm looking forward to cooling temps; it was in the 80s today. Want to wear those cozy cardies! xo Deborah

Oh!!! I am LOVING this post! So many of my favorite things - Old Navy, the color mustard, and White House Black Market! I actually don't own anything from White House Black Market myself yet, but we have several pieces from them in the formal wear shop I work in. Such an amazing brand! You look positively lovely. xx

Looking good Stephanie - this is a fun idea! I love getting back into jeans again, but I have to wait until I'm somewhere out of these Sweaty Betty climes! Love it all especially the sweet necklace.

Ahhh, I guess it's time to put my white pants away and start pretending its Fall. You always look so beautiful, that's great easy fall outfit. I think I could copy that. :-)

Beautiful...it has been so hot and humid here in western NY, however, storms rolled through last night and the weather /temps have since dropped to 59*...hope it stays that way now.

Have a lovely Saturday friend. smiles

What a fun new series! Your cute cardigan is a marriage of two of my favourite things: yellow and cozy cardigans. I love how your outfit looks great and super comfy...and doesn't come with a hefty price tag!

Ohh, a beautiful set, the mustard yellow color you see everywhere in the stores here.
And your ankle boots are so cute, nice color too.♥

Well look how cute you are, you could wear anything and look good. :) I love golden yellow as my favorite fall color. Even as old as I am, I wear jeans...it's totally an American style, no matter your age. LOL I think this is a cute change for your blog...but please keep showing us your crafty things too.. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

You look beautiful in your fall clothes. I tend to too much grey and black in the fall and winter months. I like your bright cardigan.

Great outfit! I really love the look of those boots but there's no way I could ever begin to wear them....they'd be a broken ankle waiting to happen because I fall off shoes that have the least little bit of height. Comes form having weak ankles all my life.

Oh Stephanie, what gorgeous fall style! Dear friend, you are positively lovely. Those colors suit you so well, and I smiled when you mentioned your current love for the mustard hue for fall- I have been attracted to it this year, too! It is so, so pretty.
From your darling necklace to the embroidered jeans and every piece, I just love your perfectly modest, perfect-for-autumn outfit.

It gets me so excited for fall dressing!

Love and many hugs to you, sweet friend♥
