Fashion Friday

Sweaters are just blankets
you can wear to work.

Hello, and Happy Friday,
sweet friends!
I trust you had a wonderful week
and I hope your weekend is extra beautiful.
We had our first snow yesterday
and I thought I would share a few photos with you.

We enjoyed seeing the big snowflakes
falling from the sky.
My son played in the snow
and came inside completely soaked.
It was a very wet snow
which later turned to rain.

Thank you for joining me for another Fashion Friday.
Today I thought I would share a favorite outfit of mine.

This sweater is one I wear often.
It can be dressed up or down
and it's ever so warm and cozy.
It really does feel like a soft blanket.

Here is what my outfit consists of:

- - Sweater - -
Old Navy

- - Black Jeans - -
Old Navy

- - Black Top - -
Wal-Mart

- - Booties - -
Francescas

- - Necklace - -
A gift from a friend
all the way from Australia

With the crispness of Fall,
comes a sense of change-
and the change to mix up your look.

Sweet Hanny popped in
to say "Hello!"

Do you have a favorite sweater
that you liked to wrap yourself up in?

Have a delightful weekend, friends!

Oh no...snow already? Wow...that is not something we see this early in Tn. Love a long weather, matter of fact I have one on now, I use it in place of a bulky housecoat!

I'd love a sweater like yours. Last year I shopped for one but could only find thin ones not warm one.

Stephanie, I liked the sweater. I like that you tell where you got each item. I have a thin kind of see thru sweater with a sheer back insert...wore it last weekend and the kids puppies snagged it something awful. I also had a black cardigan that went past my hips, I loved that sweater...I wore it out. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
p.s. not that snow word yet. Although it was 34 at 8:30 this morning.

Wow, you already had snow! Brrr but the sceneries with fruits and snow are so beautiful!
I love your outfit, especially your sweater. Simple and elegant.

Stay warm and have a lovely weekend!

I wear a long sweater also. You look lovely in your long.long sweater. I too like where you purchase each item.

I have a long white knitted scarf that was given to me as a present. I suppose you wrap it around your neck or use it for a shawl.

I have no idea how to properly wear it.

We have heat in our Senior building so it would be so hot.

One day I will put on my blog to show. We are in Fall now but 100% raining. Plus cold. Nice pictures you have of the beginning of the fall. I just entered a lovely tree on my blog with red leaves. With rain it is going to be the last of Fall soon. Are you a Model ?You are so slim and so pretty.

Sweet Stephanie, such a fun post! I love your Fashion Friday theme, so nice! Great pictures of you, and I especially love the one with Hanny :) You wear that long sweater beautifully! Fun to know where you bought your clothing too. I have several wool sweaters made by Woolrich that I have just about worn out! I love pure wool sweaters, they are so warm and cozy. What a beautiful snowfall you had! Love that kind, that comes, is beautiful, and melts quickly too! We haven't had snow here yet, but it is that time of year... lol! Blessings and hugs to you today :)

Like I always say...you should be a model, as you're so slim, beautiful and tall. Your outfit looks so pretty on you, and thank you for telling where you find your cute outfits. xx

You look so beautiful, comfortable and cozy in your duster-length sweater. (Yes, I have my favorite sweater, but I’ll not be modeling. 🙃) I refuse to talk about that wet, white stuff. 😱

You look very radiant and beautiful in your ootd. I did read earlier that CO got some snow. I guess it's too early to stick around as you mentioned rain. Rain usually washes away the snow. I'm glad your son got to enjoy it while it lasted.

Although I don't enjoy snow all that much, I enjoy looking at pictures of it. Yours are beautiful. I have a favorite sweater that I wear constantly. I was visiting in Tennessee in February a few years ago and it was colder than I expected. I went to Wal-Mart and found the perfect warm gray sweater for $8. I got it and wore it the entire time I was there and have been wearing it here in Pennsylvania every since. If it is cold, you will see me in my sweater.

You are such a lovely young woman. I love your outfit. No sweaters here, as we rarely have weather to wear them in. When it's cold, I either wear a jean jacket that was my husbands, or another jean jacket that is flannel lined for those few really cold days.

Can't believe you are having snow already. It is hot and steamy down here in s.e. FL.

Have a great weekend ~ FlowerLady

Wow it's hard to believe you had your first snow! It's a warmish day in my town.:)
This outfit is both elegant and cozy! :D Are you sporting a new hairstyle, by the way? :)

Oh, my snow! Today was our first sign of a little fall and we're so excited, high was 80.

Love your outfit and you are just beautiful Stephanie! I have 2-3 of the longer sweaters and really enjoy them.

Have an awesome weekend sweet Stephanie!

You look so cute! I wish I could wear long sweaters, but I think I'm too short (and maybe too round too) :)

I love that outfit, and the quote is so true, haha! I absolutely love sweaters. I can't believe you already have snow!

That sweater looks so comfy cozy! Love your hair, too. Your pictures are beautiful. Snow on the fruit, lovely. But, brrr . . . not quite ready for that yet! Nice seeing you lovely Stephanie. xo Deborah

Hello, lovely Stephanie! Oh my! I am so envious of your snow...{{winks}} We are just now getting to enjoy some proper autumn weather and today I even got to wear a sweater for the first time this year! So exciting and fun! This is my kind of weather...sweater weather. Our leaves, too, are just beginning to turn.

I loved your sweater today...I'm such a cozy clothing person, so I savour all these months of chilly, then cold, weather. It just makes me happy!

Such a treat visiting you today, dear friend! I hope you have a lovely weekend ♥ Love to you!

With us it is 26 degrees, extremely warm.

My goodness, snow already. A beautiful outfit. I have the 'go to' cardigan that is perfect for snuggling right into.

Cool shots! I'm also a fan of cozy cardigan so I love your long cardigan. I actually prefer cardigans to sweaters as they're easier for layering.

Hi Stephanie, oh you look so pretty in your outfit. I love wearing cardigans in the fall and winter and yours is really pretty.
Wow the snow looks so pretty but it just seems way too early for snow.
Hope you have a nice week

Girl, you look FABULOUS! I love everything about this outfit. Old Navy is my favorite. :) I have a long cardigan similar to yours and love wearing it on top of everything. It really is like wearing a blanket all day! Also, how did you do your hair like that? You should write a post on your favorite hairstyles because it always looks great! xx

Your first snow looks so pretty, although I don't think I am ready for it yet, we have seemed to go from HOT to cold around here, hoping for a little more Autumn weather before hitting the snow :)
Yes I do have a sweater that I love to wear and snuggle up in, I love that quote of it being a blanket you can wear to work, Love the way you styled your hair :)

How lovely you look in all of these photos. Yes, sweaters are so cozy - I love them. A long duster sweater like yours would be very warming in the winter. No snow here, but the temperatures are dropping overnight!

Beautiful! I don't have a favourite sweater because I actually rarely wear one. Our apartment is far too warm and then I don't remember to put one on when I go out. I have several lightweight jackets that I do throw on if it's cool enough outside.

I loved seeing all of your photographs.
That sweater suits you …

All the best Jan

You look so pretty Stephanie! Love the long sweater and those little booties. I finally got me some like that last year! Love them. My favorite "inside the house" warm cozies are an old heavy cardigan sweater that I've had for at least 20 years! It's my comfort sweater and "go to" for inside the house. Also I love sweatshirt type cardigans that you don't pull over your head but that snap up. Again, I've had one for about 30 years and finally got a new one to replace it! LOVE it. Outside, my go to cozies are lined flannel shirts and my jean jacket. I had a long sweater years ago and wore it work alot in the winter. Sometimes I wish I had it again but for a long time, never saw long sweaters. Now maybe they are making a comeback! xoxoxo Marilyn

You look so cute in this outfit, dear Stephanie. Black and tan go well together. The necklace from Australia is pretty. And I love how your hair is swooped up like that. You're getting snow already? How fun for your son to be able to play in the snow. I am enjoying these Fashion Friday posts of yours, and getting some great ideas from you. : )

love, ~Sheri
